I believe we’re aware and observed the recent provocative and inciting actions which were flashed to our eyes clearly. The police arrested 16 Hindraf supporters at candlelight march in KL. Can you able to justify the police imprudent actions with your own standings? We need to condemn with the strongest possible terms the barbaric act displayed by the police on Saturday during our candlelight solidarity vigil. The act by the police on Saturday was a sign of a regime under pressure.
The police reactions towards Hindraf supporters results in arrogance, desperation, frustration and political malnourishment. They’re bullying innocent Indians but not blaming Malay activists who were rudely behaved during the cow-head demo.
To the ruling government, Hindraf is more of a threat to their existence compared to the some barbaric Umnoputras into violent and issuing seditious statements to incite and inflame racial discord by the very conditions created by the system. To prove this, Hindraf has been voicing and sending thousands of memorandums to the Umno led BN government for resolutions, yet when we conduct peaceful rallies carrying posters, flowers and candles, our supporters are assaulted, charged and even detained under ISA.
The police themselves, are showing double standard and fascist attitude against suffering and oppressed Indian population. We however as Hindraf view the role of the police in communities as helpers of the vulnerable and protectors of the community as a whole, and not protectors of an elite at the expense of the majority.

This is clearly shows the absolute racist & barbaric BN/Umno regime of Malaysia who are willing to do anything for their own benefits. I’m very proud to see our people who are respectively more adherences to situation even though there was an incident where one Umnoputra monster made our Indian brother fell to the ground.
On the arrest of our supporters, we find it very much senseless, particularly because we do not find any logic in arresting and questioning people in a candlelight march. What is there to question?
An eyewitness account by MALAYSIAN HEART.
As I crossed Jalan Kinabalu to get to Dataran Merdeka, it was 6 pm. In front of St. Mary's church (A on the map), I could see police officers walking towards Jalan Raja, adjusting their uniforms and berets. Ahead, there was a police "balai bergerak", and a van. An assortment of uniformed officers stood by, while about 25 - 30 people dressed in plain clothes milled about.
There were a few tourists and photographers along Jalan Raja, but nowhere near it's usual Saturday evening crowd. A group of press photographers were there too; I heard them joke that they would outnumber the protesters.

From MALAYSIAKINI...
What a farce the cow-head incident is turning out to be. The handling of the case so far demonstrates clearly that all that talk about 1Malaysia is mostly cow pie.
Firstly, the police have been slow to act. They concluded their investigations last Tuesday and handed them over to the attorney-general. Now we have to wait further for the august AG to decide whether action will be taken. In this regard, one can’t help but be reminded that nothing has yet come out of the VK Lingam case – long after the Royal Commission of Inquiry ruled that there were grounds for the AG to take action.
Secondly, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein goes out of his way to meet with the protesters, the very people who had committed what is apparently a seditious act by bringing a cow’s head to their protest and spitting at it and kicking it. All because they didn’t want a Hindu temple to be relocated in their area of residence in Shah Alam.
Would Hishammuddin have done the same if it had been Hindus protesting against the relocation of a mosque in their housing estate? Imagine what the reaction of the authorities would have been if that had been the case.
As far as Selangor opposition leader Mohd Khir Toyo is concerned, the controversy surrounding the cow-head protest in Shah Alam last week is just a big misunderstanding over a 'stupid' animal.

i watch the video re-vigil by Hindraf participants with my daughter. My heart bled for these participants who were arrested. My daughter, young girl cried when she saw the participant being carried on all fours to the waiting truck!Really double standards. To hell with 1 malaysia. Damned racists. The cops treated the peaceful participants worst as criminals!Pissed me of. Uncivilised creatures.
Why waste your time having candle light vigils???? I am amused why you guys will never learn from experience.
We bloody well know that these bastards are afraid of us causing damage to their regime.
Can you guys put all this candle vigils aside and start EDUCATING the Indian community to vote for change in the coming elections.
Instead of walking around with candles, start walking around with positive knowledge and start attacking the youth of tomorrow for their votes for change.
STOP THIS BLOODY CANDLE VIGILS, ITS JUST WORKING POSITIVELY ON THE FUCKING REGIMES SIDE.
Plan for a better tomorrow with a positive thought.
Its not too long off, get moving now, and keep a record of your bloody homework on how many voters you have influenced to vote for change.
BEST OF LUCK. MALAYSIA FOR MALAYSIANS.
