The term "Allah" just simply means God in Arabic. The pre-Islamic Arabians had been using the term "Allah" for a very long time. Or don't tell me you think that Arabians means Islam??
Also, the term "allah" is not copyrighted by Islam anyway. It's just because Islam originated from Arab, they used Allah as God. Just like Judaism originated from Israel, they don't use "God" in their early Hebrew Bible, they called God, "Yahweh". By the way, "God" is an English term.
I'm a Christian, from a Hokkien family. When I talk to my family about God, I did not say "God", but I said "ang kong" (Hokkien dialect). Does that mean "ang kong" must mean the chinese deities???
Let's say a chinese hokkien muslim. Can't he refer Allah as "ang kong" when speaking to his hokkien family or friends?

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinions but my opinions are founded based on consultation with my friends whom are well versed in Christianity.
I do however want to know some things. If I am not mistaken, Allahuakbar is an Arabic word which means Allah is great.
Are Christians in Church uttering such words as well ?
I wonder. And I hope to hear opinions.
Moreover, in the United States, a highly populated Christianity country, the mention of Allah will provide a first hand impression that the person is a Muslim.
Am I not right in these arguments?
You see, some might say they won't need to utter Allahuakbar. But they might just say Allah ku maha esa or something along this line.
As such, the problem boils down to just needing a Malay word since the Christians in East Malaysia use Malay language.
Naturally, I see a solution in asking Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka to come up with a word - a Malay word - to represent the God in the Christianity religion.

Dear Sir, Allah as accepted and understood by Muslims is not the same as God. We have Syahadat "There is no God but Allah" is the first pillar of Islam. Allah has Dzat Sifat Asma and Afaal and 20 Sifat/Attributes, which are divided into Nafsiah, Salbiah, Maani and Maanawiyah. Therefore Allah is not the same meaning as or direct translation of God. Currently the world has many Gods, as accepted and understood by many religions. But we can only have one Allah, as above explained and the usage is confined only to Islam/Muslim. Thank you.

That's why this world is in a mess. why does the "Almighty and the all knowing" as many religions believe,cares what name HE is being called? HE should be able to know every individual whose hearts are sincere and pure and those that shouts his name every living moment,yet are scums of this earth?
