Goh Wei Liang shaking hands with his Hero, the racist and bigot fake Malay Mahathir MohamedBy Tan Teik Lye
After keeping mum about his stand on BTN, Goh Wei Liang has finally found the courage to 'speak up'. However in classic Goh Wei Liang fashion, he had to heap praises on the architect of BTN and the Father of Malaysian Racism, the Indian Muslim Malay wannabe Mahathir Mohamed.
Below is Goh Wei Liang's take on BTN after attending it:
Browsing through The Star today, this article caught my attention. BTN courses teaches disunity (The Star).
As PSD Scholars and based in INTEC (UiTM - Shah Alam) for pre-university, students were required back then to attend a Biro Tatanegara Camp (camps are nationwide) and also a Kem Bina Insan in Selangor.
The Kem Bina Insan was good I have to say. We were taught the meaning of racial harmony and unity and it was the very first Government organized camp that I attended.
Events, activities and the module of Kem Bina Insan were very meaningful. The officers in KBI were able to show our weaknesses, point out our strengths and unite us as a team - a Malaysian team.
Some of us were at first indiscipline and lazy, yet the officers manage to push us up to be adults.
However, the camping experiences organized by the Government turned sour after we attended a Kursus Biro Tatanegara.
During my year, we were split into two groups and each group went to different camps. My group was sent to Kem Ulu Sepri, Negeri Sembilan.
At the BTN Camp, there were modules that caused the scholars to be uncomfortable as the contents were very racist.
The non Bumiputeras in the Camp had to endure all the racial stings and remarks that BTN officers brought up.
There was a time when the officer in charge asked a Malay student whether she is happy that the Malays will not get special rights one day, that the Social Contract allows non Malays to stay in their land and many more.
There were instances also where the officer even provoked non Malay students asking whether they were happy with the special rights issue .
By using the word "provoke", I seriously mean PROVOKE and not DISCUSS.
It was also very vague at that time what BTN Camps were for - nation building or racial riots? The most terrifying experience was during the open forum on the final night of BTN Camp.
The open forum was a discussion session where the then Deputy Director of BTN and the Special Task officer to Director of BTN attended together with all the program coordinators of BTN in that Camp.
We were encouraged to ask any questions including politics, Government policies, religious issues or anything. It was basically a free for all session where anything under the sky can be discussed.
So of course, the event that night did not end without a commotion. Some questions were raised to discuss politics and policies.
And I can say, these questions were all manipulated and answered in a manner that we would feel uneasy no matter what race we are - Malays, Chinese, Indians etc.
I was specifically unhappy with the answers by the Deputy Director of BTN who twisted the questions and answered by hammering the students from a racial point of view.
That night, we sat there uneasy as the high ranking officers continue to answer innocent questions that could have been proper discussion of thoughts but they ended up provoking racial sentiments of all races.
I hope the Government of Malaysia and the Parliament of Malaysia can look into reforming the BTN camps.
I am sure the BTN modules are clear and have the unity objectives stated in there but I believe the officers are not using the modules in the proper manner.
Also, BTN needs to be scrutinised to ensure a peaceful Malaysia because what happened in my BTN camp could have easily sparked a racial clash right in Ulu Sepri itself.
We cannot afford to have the dismantling effects of BTN’s module over the efforts of other Government agencies in our quest of one way towards UNITY.
I surely do not want to see a repeat of such a thing under 1 Malaysia.
This is where Goh Wei Liang starts taking crap by praising his 'Hero' the racist and bigot Mahathir Mohamed. He even goes on to heap praises on the likes of Apanama2020, Bigdogdotcom and Rockybru:
My take is this. Some of the modules at the BTN camp were historical lessons, but there were a few modules that are unacceptable.
The officers whom were tasked to promote patriotism and unity did not live up to our expectations and thus, contributing to today's criticisms.
The notion and underlying objectives of the course can stay with amendments, but the officers ought to go for unity and patriotism course themselves.
That is all I have to say. Let us talk about Mahathir bin Mohamad. We read that Dr Mahathir and Nazri took swipes at each other over the BTN course.
Nazri in the first place should not have attacked Dr Mahathir. As a Minister in the PM's Dept with the Parliament portfolio, such a high profile position is seen as a "representative" of the sitting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
As such, bloggers like Apanama2020, Bigdogdotcom and Rockybru stood up to "contain and treat" the matter carefully to avoid a 2nd clash.
It is an open secret that Nazri and Dr Mahathir do not get along, especially during Abdullah Badawi's days as Prime Minister.
The hatchet is so deep that some of us Mahathir supporters feel that Nazri should not remain in the Cabinet of Malaysia as he can be a liability to Najib's efforts.
However, Najib has his ideas on why Nazri is to be retained as Parliament Minister so we should accord him the respect for his wisdom and strategies for now.
As for Mahathir being criticized as Father of Racism, I say Mahathir was not and is not a racist. The definition of a racism is "Racism is hatred or intolerance of another race or, to struggle for one race by suppressing other races."
I have nothing much to add except to point to you an article I wrote in the past in my respond to Hamish McDonald of Sydney Morning Herald on Malaysia and Mahathir.
And finally, after browsing through my collection of pictures, I wish to show to the world my encounter with Mahathir bin Mohamad, our Father of Modernisation who is a Statesman for all Malaysians.
This is Mahathir bin Mohamad, Malaysia's former Prime Minister who has never failed to win Elections with 2/3 majority support from the Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races in Malaysia's plural society throughout his 22 years of Premiership.
He is not like what Nazri described him as or any smear tactics by Opposition bloggers.
No one has the right or credibility to summarize Mahathir bin Mohamad's service to the nation or his policies much.
Politicians and policy makers can provide their own judgement but these are all interest groups which lack the credibility.
No one can claim that they know for sure how much Dr Mahathir Mohamad has sacrificed for the country or what kind of a person is Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Only the two closest people to Dr Mahathir Mohamad has the right to share and tell all on our beloved former Prime Minister.
These two people are Tun Dr Siti Hasmah and Marina Mahathir as they are the ones who spent most of their lives supporting and following the steps, policies and political moves of Mahathir bin Mohamad.
I rest my case and let us move on to other pressing issues that affect all such as our ECONOMY, WELFARE, HEALTH and EDUCATION.

shall ask Namewee to gives 'Omar Goh' his songs !!
Omar Goh Wei Liang = 'sampah masyarakat'
Ahmad
Well, he truly is the prime example of a devoted scholar of "Mahathirism".
Any serious thinking student or "scholar" as he puts it would know that those BTN staff is only obeying orders and those orders ultimately originates from the PM Office (BTN is after all under the purview of PM's Office).
So by categorically denying Mahathir's hand in BTN, he clearly shows his true color or should I say true religion, the worship of Mahathir. I rest my case!
ONLY his bini & daughter ?
SO his 3, tiga , sons are NOT laa !?
That's why dog owners love their dogs. No matter what kind of arseholes they are, they can still depend on their dogs to protect them!!
Can someone sue this Goh Wei Liang for pimping our oxygen? To date, he hasn't spouted a single reasonable argument.
Yes, I totally agree with Mr Goh. Under Mahathir our country has achieved many things namely :
1) Corruption had increased tremendously under his rule. Mahahthir himself had admitted that corruption is now no more under table but out in the open and that it has become a norm for UMNO. Corruption is a legacy of Mahathir
2) Malaysia which was part of the Asian tigers has now fallen sadly behind economies which we were on par or ahead of at one time. Given all our oil resources and UMNO was not able to take this huge advantage to bring the country ahead but rather through corruption chose to enrich themselves and enslave the rakyat.
3) Mahathir's pet project, Proton, caused the rakyat to pay more for transportation. This is probably the only country in the world that manufactures cars which is subsidised by the citizens. This is another legacy of Mahathir which has caused much embarassment and suffering to the rakyat.
4) Mahathir introduced BTN to indoctrinate and brainwash the Malays to hate the others. This is a fact and is no amount of spin can hide the ugly truth in the evil intentions of Mahathir. This divide and rule policy of Mahathir/UMNO has worked well for BN but will lead to the destruction of the country sooner or later.
5) I do not know whether Mahathir is a racist but I do know that UMNO is a racist party. I know that our DPM is a racist, so is our Home Minister, UMNO information misister, deputy education minister. UMNO uses Utusan to spread racist messages that the 'others' are out to conquer the malays when everyone knows that this is far from the truth. WHy does UMNO keep doing this? The only reason is self preservation. Darwin's theory of evolution at work. The most basic instinct of survival is to destroy the competition. In the case of UMNO, all others are the competitors. What they fail to realise is that the real competitors are out there. In the usual style of UMNO tempurung, send the pendatangs back to where they came from. They do not rrealise that they themselves are also pendatang. Yes this is what UMNO is about. This is what Mahathir left behind. My Hero.
Is that person (with the camera) standing next to Omar Goh, is his gay partner? Saiful oh Saiful! Where art thou? Omar Goh Wei Liang's arsehole needs your greasing.
"Only the two closest people to Dr Mahathir Mohamad has the right to share and tell all on our beloved former Prime Minister."
Let me ask your mother if you are also a "closest".
Have you ever counted how many chinese businessmen he helped and has become multi-millionaire????
And why the chinese and indian still voted him in 99 election? racist?
btw Mahathir is only 25% indian 75% malay.
And you need to understand the concept of Malay.
It is a hybrid race with common unifying element that is Islam and is built of many regional cultures.
Melayu + jawa + indian + arab + chinese + rawa + acheh + irish + bugis + pakistan + etc etc.
How can this race be racist?
It is the same race that accepts indian and chinese immigrants to be given citizenship.
since majority disagree with you, have you ever considered migrating to say Australia and become second class citizen. Sure, money is better, but to the whites you will be seen as pendatang too.
As the saying goes, the one that accuse is the one that is the accused.
live with it!
at least under him, plane engin cant hilang one !
