Ikan Bilis BN MP for Sri Gading, Mohamad bin Haji Aziz has called on both Gerakan President Koh Tsu Koon (above left) and MCA President Ong Tee Keat (above right) to step down from their respective Ministerial posts. Just imagine if a Gerakan or MCA MP were to call for an Umno Minister to step down, you can bet the pig brained Umnoputras will declare a 'Jihad' .

It just shows both MCA and Gerakan are treated as 'Bastard Sons' of BN/Umno. Both Ong Tee Keat and Koh Tsu Koon are after all thick skinned individuals who like their party comrades are in constant denial of the fact that they are crap before the eyes of the Umnoputras.

If both MCA and Gerakan had any dignity left in them, they should do the honorable thing, that is, leave BN. This Son of a Monkey Mohamed Aziz is the same bigot who called for the removal of crosses and statues from Christian Mission Schools. Umno's true nature is represented in the likes of Aziz. Najib Razak's 1 Malaysia is only a camouflage for this evil bigoted nature of Umno.

On July 16, according to the testimony of a Thai pathologist, Teoh Beng Hock, a 29-year-old aide to an opposition politician, was probably beaten during a marathon questioning session, sodomized, strangled unconscious, dragged to a window of the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission in Kuala Lumpur and thrown to his death.

The country's law enforcement establishment maintains that Teoh committed suicide by leaping from the MACC building after the inquiry was concluded into irregularities in his boss's accounts. But it is far from the first "suicide" in custody and what happened to Teoh happens all too frequently when the luckless collide with the powerful in Malaysia. His real killers are unlikely ever to be identified. As many as 350 people have died in custody since 1990. The privileged are rarely brought to trial.

The most infamous recent case before Teoh's is that of Altantuya Shaariibuu, a 28 year-old Mongolian translator who was murdered in 2006 by two bodyguards of then-Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. Altantuya had been jilted by Najib's best friend, Abdul Razak Baginda, and was demanding money from him.

Although numerous witnesses and evidence connected Najib to the affair, he was never questioned or put on the witness stand, nor was his chief of staff, Musa Safri, who Baginda said in a cautioned statement he approached about getting Altantuya from ceasing her harrassment. His two bodyguards were convicted of the murder although one, in his confession, said the two men were to be paid RM100,000 to kill her. The court never asked who would pay the money. The confession wasn't allowed in court. Baginda was acquitted without having to put on a defense and promptly left the country and Najib was eventually named Prime Minister.

Such questionable cases go back to at least the early 1980s when Sultan Mahmud Iskandar of Johor was dubbed the "killer king" by the British tabloids after he shot a trespasser to death on his property. He also reportedly assaulted and killed a golf caddy who was said to have laughed when the sultan missed a golf stroke and he maimed the caddy's brother. He later was alleged to have assaulted and injured a hockey coach, kicking off a constitutional crisis that led to former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad's removal of legal immunity from prosecution for all of Malaysia's nine sultans, although Iskandar was never either arrested or jailed.

There are plenty more. In 1988 an attractive young woman named Mustakizah Jaafar, who owned a video rental business in Malacca, was found hacked to death by unknown assailants. Mustakizah reportedly was pregnant at the time of her death. She was believed to be having an affair with Megat Junid Megat Ayob, the onetime UMNO deputy home affairs minister, who died in January 2008 of cancer.

No one was ever charged with Mutakizah's murder. The widespread gossip about Megat Junid's connection with Mustakizah didn't do his political career any harm. He was ultimately named Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister in 1997 although he lost his parliamentary seat two years later and retired from politics.

In 2002 the decomposed body of Haslezah Ishak, the attractive young second wife of Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, second in line to the throne of Perak, whom he had met in a karaoke lounge, was found under a bridge, clad in a bra and jeans. Four men, including a palace aide, a bomoh or witch doctor, a fisherman and a carpenter were arrested and jailed for the murder. No one was ever arrested or questioned for hiring them to kill her although suspicion fell on the prince's wife, Rajah Mahani, who had been publicly consulting witch doctors over her suspicion that Haslezah had put a spell on her husband.

In 2003, another attractive young woman, Norita Shamsudin, was found murdered in an apartment in a Kuala Lumpur suburb. A night club guest relations officer, Norita had been rumored to be having an affair with Shahidan Kassim, then chief minister of the state of Perlis. Although another individual was arrested and charged with the murder, he was later declared not guilty and no one else was ever charged. According to local news reports, the inspector general of police, Mohd Bakri Omar, classified the case under Malaysia's Official Secrets Act and no details were ever released.

Earlier this year, authorities finally completed an inquest into the 2007 death of beautiful ethnic Indian actress Sujatha Krishnan, who also worked part-time as a secretary to S.Vell Paari, chief executive officer of Maika Holdings and the son of S. Samy Vellu, the head of the Malaysian Indian Congress, a component of the ruling national coalition. Sujatha died in a hospital in a Kuala Lumpur suburb of Klang three days after she had been rushed in for treatment. Her body was cremated almost immediately after her death. The coroner ruled she had died after poisoning herself by drinking poison. The family vainly requested an investigation into her death.

For those at the bottom end of Malaysia's power spectrum, life can be considerably tougher if suspicion falls on them. According to the reform organization Malaysians Against Death Penalty and Torture (MADPET), a distressing number of suspects have died in custody. "Relying merely on data provided by the government, it has been disclosed that there have been 150 deaths from 1990 until 2004 (10.7 per year), 108 deaths between 2000 and 2006 (18 per year), and, 85 deaths between 2003 and 2007 (21.25 per year)," the organization said.

According to a 2003 report by the Asian Human Rights Commission – the same year Norita was killed ‑ statistics released in Malaysia's parliament in October of that year by the Home Ministry, showed 23 people died in police custody between 2002 and July 2003. Of those, 16 died in 2002 although according to the report, other figures indicated that 18 had died in custody in the first nine months of 2002 alone. Parliament was told in October 2002 that a total of 34 persons had died in police custody since 2000 ‑ six in 2000, 10 in 2001 and 18 from January to September 2002.

According to the report, then-Deputy Home Minister Chor Chee Heung denied that methods of torture used to obtain information from suspects led to their deaths. He claimed that the majority of deaths were the result of attempts to escape from police custody. Typical seemed to be the case of Hasrizal Hamzah, who had been detained on suspicion of murder in October of 2003. According to a senior assistant police commissioner, Harizal confessed to the murder and then, as he was being moved to a new location, supposedly shoved the accompanying policeman aside despite being handcuffed, and leapt over a balcony to his death.

Earlier this year, the Indian community was enraged by the death of a 22-year-old named Kugan Ananthan who was detained on Jan. 15 on suspicion of stealing luxury cars. He reportedly collapsed during questioning and died on Jan. 20 from "acute pulmonary edema," or fluid in the lungs. However, after his body was released to his family, an autopsy found that he had suffered from internal bleeding in his heart, left lung, spleen, kidneys and scalp area. The soles of his feet had been beaten and the back of his neck and spine area were bleeding. His back was covered with contusions, beating marks and bruises. He had sustained more than 10 serious burn marks, probably as the result of being burned by a heated v-shaped iron bar. He had also been starved during the entire time he was being tortured, allegedly by as many as seven police officers, his family charged.

"There is a clear lack of supervision, medical care and concern for the general well-being and rights of suspects while under police remand," the Human Rights Commission said in its 2003 report. It does not appear that anything has changed. The odds are that the cases involving both Kugan and Teoh will end up the same way scores of others have.

Already we hear of finger pointing about who's to blame for this tragedy. The BN controlled MSM is already in full spin claiming that the bridge collapse was due to the fact that the children were jumping on it. Low class Pariah Muhydeen Yassin thinks that he can soothe the grieving hearts of the affected families with a mere RM 10,000 contribution?

Already, indications from engineers suggests that the bridge collapsed due to poor maintenance and also due to shoddy work. Even though the BN/Umno regime claims that the bridge was a 'Gift' from a private company, surely someone must have profited from its construction. After all, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Satu lagi Projek Kerajaan Barisan Nasional.

The Scribe believes the real killer of these three innocent young girls was the word 'WAJIB' (Compulsory). It is a known fact that the Evil BN/Umno regime always has the habit of using school children and teachers to pursue their evil agenda. What is not reported in the MSM is that schools always use the word WAJIB to get teachers to participate in activities such as Najib Razak's 1 Malaysia Crap. Do you really think that these over stressed teachers would have gone on the trip had they had the choice lest they want to write a SURAT TUNJUK SEBAB (show cause letter).

The poor students on the other had are told by their teachers that their participation is WAJIB, lest they want to be punished. Since it is WAJIB, the poor parents have no choice but to allow their children to attend an activity that is intended to inflate the ego of Mr Pink Lips. The parents are then asked to sign a waiver just in case somthing happens so that the school and the BN regime can't be blamed.

After all, WAJIB and NAJIB sounds the same.

Pakatan Rakyat and their supporters are really disappointing. Time after time, I have advised the blogger and the readers not to indulge in name calling. I am not a Muslim and I am no Omar. Who is mocking the religion of Islam now ?

People say siapa makan cili, dia terasa pedas. Kalau cili yang saya hidang untuk semua tidak pedas, manalah mungkin ramai yang rasa pedas dan menulis balik ?

Tan Teik Lye and the readers don't know. Just compare Tun M and Nik Aziz. Who is healthier and has a higher fitness level? Who is best to lead the country? You all know the answers.

The comments are not worthy of my reply actually but since Tan Teik Lye is so interested, I shall shed some thoughts here.

This can also be reciprocated to be as "Kelantan tak nak maju, nak mundur". Right ? Plain English twists but I am not on a witch hunt mission.

The readers here can see. If placed in a hypothetical case where there has to be one man to be chosen to represent the country internationally, would you want Tan Teik Lye, the anonymous-es to lead the way ?

You know the answers. Don't hide and run away from this facts. Grow up my friends, let your maturity flourish and let there be 1Malaysia - a concept that envisions a noble society in all of us.

P. Uthayakumar’s “ethnic cleansing” trial

P. Uthayakumar’s “ethnic cleansing” trial (26/10/2009). UMNO and A.G refuse to reveal Kg. Medan “secret” documents.

This morning at 9.10 a.m the “bioused Sessions Court Judge” (despite being
informed that the Court of Appeal has fixed the 2nd day of November 2009
to hear P. Uthayakumar’s application to recuse her (“bioused Judge”) from
further hearing this criminal trial, this Judge once again insisted in
proceeding. She delivered her decision that the one page document tendered
by the Prosecution of an Indian youth who allegedly was killed on the 25th
November 2007 Hindraf peaceful Rally was admissible.

This “Civil Court” Judge then proceeded to hear lawyer N. Surendran’s
Notice of Application for the follwing documents:-

1) The documents/minutes as to why the Government of Malaysia had since
2001 refused to hold a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Kg Medan
racial attacks targeted specifically against the Malaysian Indians where
five innocent Indians were killed and one hundred over others were caused
injuries and grievous bodily injuries.

2) The documents/minutes as to why the Malaysian Human Rights Commission
(Suhakam) had since 2001 refused to hold an open Inquiry into the said Kg
Medan racial attacks despite scores of written letters and memorandums.

3) The documents/minutes as to why the Chief Justice of Malaya and the
Attorney General (AG) has refused to hold an Inquest into the five
mysterious killings in Kg. Medan.

4) The documents/minutes as to why Attorney General Gani Patail has
refused to prosecute for especially the five murders and the injuries and
grievous bodily injuries caused to 100 over others.

(The Deputy Prosecutor Noorin Badaruddin was brazen enough to submit in
open court that the Attorney General’s office did not have the said
documents applied for and that they have no intention to produce the
same).

5) The Malaysian government’s White Paper on the true happenings in Kg Medan.
Lawyer Manoharan Malayalam who is also representing P. Uthayakumar
submitted that there are plans to refer Dr. Mahathir the then Prime
Minister during the Kg Medan “ethnic cleansing” to the International Court
of Justice. Also for the UMNO controlled Malaysian government’s failure to
protect the said working class Indians in Kg Medan from being killed and
caused injuries and grievous bodily injuries.

Lawyer N. Surendran made this application pursuant to Section 51 of the
Criminal Procedure Code.

P. Uthayakumar who is also representing himself then submitted that:-

1) If the Attorney General Gani Patail does not have the documents, then
he should not have proceeded with this prosecution in the first place.

2) That it has been nine years since the “ethnic cleansing” of the working
class Indians in Kg Medan and why has three been pin drop silence from
UMNO and the A.G. Why are they not revealing the truth as to what really
happened in Kg Medan?

3) That he (P. Uthayakumar) therefore cannot fully defend himself in this
“ethnic cleansing” criminal prosecution against him.

4) That this criminal prosecution is malicious, vindictive and racially
motivated by UMNO and done in collaboration with the Attorney General Gani
Patail.

5) “Berani kerana benar dan takut kerana salah” It is because UMNO and the
AG are frightened of the truth (the UMNO linked racial attacks/state
sponsored racial attacks in Kg Medan). They are frightened because they
are guilty.

Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom P. Uthayakumar said that the
truth of the Kg Medan “ethic cleansing” must come out even if he has to
again go to jail. He has already served a jail sentence of about 1 ½
years under the ISA also for this charge but is again being prosecuted-
double jeopardy.

The “bioused judge” then fixed the 4th day of November 2009 to deliver
her decision.

Little 'Boy Wonder' Omar Goh Wei Liang learned the hard way that there are some things he best not dabble in. Instead of him giving his famous 'A PIECE OF MY MIND', Omar Goh instead got 'A PIECE OF EVERYONE'S MIND'.

We all know that Omar Goh wants to bodek (butter up) the Malays with his pro-Mahathir and pro-BN/Umno stance. Unfortunately, not everyone buys Omar Goh's crap. Omar Goh should have known that you just can't expect to get away by belittling someone like Tok Guru Nik Aziz let alone call for his resignation. I bet Omar Goh now fully understands the meaning of the Malay proverb "Siapa makan cili dia akan rasa pedas". Mahathir is 84 this year. That means he was 78 when he stepped down.
TG Nik Aziz is 78 this year.
Wait until he's 79 before you compare him with TM and telling him to get out.

Secondly, compare it to BN-ruled state of Perlis. Is Perlis considered developed with all investors coming in the big way like Selangor?

Have you ever meet TGNA??If you get a chance make a trip to Pulau Melaka in Kelantan and drop by his house and judge for your self.Kelantan underdeveloped???Can you name any abandon state project in Kelantan???Even the police there scared to take bribe or better put they choose not to take bribe.Can you say the same thing in other states???

Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat telah dilebel oleh seorang pemuda biadap bernama Omar Goh Wei Liang sebagai seorang pemimpin kuku besi. Pelbagai fitnah telah dilemparkan oleh pemuda biadap ini yang pada ketika ini sedang menuntut di sebuah universiti di Australia. Omar Goh memang adalah penyokong kuat Mahafiraun Mahathir Mohamed dan BN. Caranya bagaimana Omar Goh ini menyokong Mahafiraun soalah-olah dia ni anak haramnya.

Memang jelas, Omar Goh yang mengidolakan blogger-blogger sampah seperti Parpukari, Chedet, Pemuda Umno Permatang Puah dan sebagainya berniat jahat untuk memecah-belahkan PAS. Si bedebah ini cuba memberi gambaran kononya Tok Guru Nik Aziz adalah seotrang diktator yang gilakan kuasa. Omar Goh juga cuba memperlagakan pemimpin-pemimpin PAS antara satu sama lain. Lebih teruk lagi, Si Jahanam ini mempertikai dan mempersendakan Fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh Tok Guru Nik Aziz. Apakah kelayakan Omar Goh untuk mempertkaikan Fatwa seorang Ulama? Siapakah Omar Goh untuk menyuruh Tok Guru Nik Aziz untuk mengundurkan diri?

The current Prime Minister in his statement recently has admitted that Malaysian Indians have contributed immensely to the development of the country and is currently in backwater. He also admitted that special attention needs to be given to the Malaysian Indians to bring them in line with the mainstream development of the nation.

In the 2009 Budget, the then Prime Minister Datuk Ahmad Badawi initiate an action plan with a nation’s mission focusing in first ensuring the well being of Malaysian, development of quality Human Capital and strengthening the nation’s resilience.

However Badawi’s plan was only a lip service to appease the nation without any real action to enhance the nation with their continued suppression on Article 5, 8, 10 & 13 of the constitution against the public more particularly against the Malaysian Indians.

The current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Seri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has taken several approaches to appease the Malaysian Indians yet this all could be another political charade to hoodwink the nation on their effort to uplift the Malaysian Indians.

If the current Prime Minister is genuinely serious and concern in addressing the grievances of the Malaysian Indians, then he should come out in the open and announce measures taken and ensure the implementation of the same to uplift the Malaysian Indian from the systematic marginalization and discrimination that they have faced over the last 52 years in their deteriorated state of affairs in the socio development of the society.

The failure by the Prime Minister to highlight this issue will only lend credence to the typical hypocracy that have been practice by the UMNO led government for the last 52 years.

The Other 20 Percent

Dr. Porntip gave an 80 percent chance that Teoh Beng Hock had been
murdered by the MACC.

I believe I have the remaining 20 percent.

Looking at the information available publicly since Teoh's death,
including the findings of Dr. Porntip, I have made certain deductions
about the matter:

Teoh was said to have fallen from the 14th floor to a roof at the 5th
floor level. That's a fall of 9 floors.

A fall of that distance would often produce some splatter of blood at
the scene, but such blood was apparently absent in the photos of
Teoh's body on the roof.

Dr. Porntip testified that there were marks indicating dragging across
a "hard and rough surface".

The stairs, doorways and pathways to and along roofs of a building
don't receive the smooth beautiful finishes given areas inside the
building, they are left rough, bare cement and gravel.

From the above, I think a reasonable deduction is that Teoh did not
fall to where his body was shown on the roof, but rather was killed
elsewhere and dragged to the point on the roof shown in the photos.
That's the remaining 20 percent.

It appears that his body was placed on the roof below a window to
attempt to make Teoh's death appear a suicide.

In other words, Teoh's death was 100 percent murder.

Why was Teoh killed?

Did he know "too much"?

Could he have implicated someone in a corruption case?

Perhaps he was called to the MACC not to give evidence but rather to
learn what he knew and then permanently silence him.

Teoh's death will understandably make people reluctant to provide
information to the MACC, which would hamper the ability of the MACC to
combat corruption.

It appears that the MACC (formerly known as the ACA) is not really
interested in combating corruption, but rather interested in
suppressing evidence of corruption, to the extent of committing murder
to achieve that end.

What to call a country ruled by thieves and murderers? Malaysia has
become such a country.

Counsel acting for the group has agreed to take on a brief of prosecution against the current serving Inspector General of Police (Malaysia), his immediate predecessor in office, Malaysia’s former Minister of Home Affairs (Syed Hamid Albar) and the current incumbent in that position Hishamuddin Tun Hussein Onn for crimes against humanity, gross violation of Human Rights in Malaysia (extra judicial killings) and for torture.

UPDATE

A leaked document to GRK now reveals a background paper outlining a summary of the history of Indian indentured and slave labour (as defined under international law) from south India into plantations and other labour intensive industries run by colonial Britain in Malaya.

Interestingly the document identifies a more brutal regime of the successors to British colonial rule in Malaysia, the Malaysian government. It also summarises and carefully documents systemic and systematic oppression by the state against the complainants since independence. The document is believed to provide the foundation for the basis of claims by the group.

The leaked document also includes the list of offences the defendants when charged, will have to answer to which includes;

(a) individual and gang rape (b) torture (c) extra judicial killings (d) confiscation of property (personal) (e) kidnapping (f) drownings (g) body snatching (h) forced conversion and other forms of depravation of liberty (i) torture and kidnapping of children.

DOCTRINE OF JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the new lethal legal doctrine of Justice and Accountability, a principle that seeks to End Impunity for sovereign offenders responsible for having committed or having abetted in the commission of criminal and Human Rights offences, sovereign immunity is stripped away from them under the rule and the offender will no longer be able to raise the defence of the ‘act of a sovereign’.

The current action (if confirmed) would indicate that “the tail has finally found the muscle and coordinates to wag the proverbial dog” in Malaysia where Tamils have historically faced systemic and systematic persecution and marginalisation at the hands of a race based government.

IMPLICATIONS AND IMPACT

If the prosecution does go ahead, it may well be the case that the 4 individuals named in the suit may be forced into exile in their own homes within the limited security of the borders of Malaysia. Such a restriction would mean that they would be unable to travel freely outside the geographic boundaries of Malaysia.

Further, if warrants are issued these 4 would be joined in infamy to the ranks of noteriety of other international pariahs like Ehud Barak Defence Minister of Israel, Presdient Bashir of Sudan, Slobodan Miesovic, Radan Karejic and Humberto Mejia of Guantemala all of whom have warrants issued against them for vile and heinous crimes against humanity.

The warrants if issued by a competent court in the UK is likely to further do irrepairably damage Malaysia’s image as a liberal, cosmopolitan, developing and industrialised democracy. That veneer of respectability it craved and jelously sought to guard, built up over decades of hard work and ambition will peel off from the heat that ensues to reveal a tin pot dictatorship parading as liberals and democrats.

Nothing unfortunately in such circumstances will in the short term be able to redeem the tarnished image of the coutnry and its people from the social and political stigma attached to such warrants.

It appears that the fued between Ong Tee Keat and Chua Soi Lek is finally over, so it appears. It also appears that this 'truce' between Ong and Chua was brokered by PM Najib Razak and Umno. MCA supporters talk about the so-called Constitution to resolve the crisis plaguing MCA. It appears that Najib and Umno supersedes the MCA and its Constitution. It clearly shows that MCA is nothing but a tool of Umno. Poor MCA can't even put its house in order and needed Umno to do the housekeeping.

Malaysiakini quoted Chua as saying "We've no choice but to hold hands". So much for the Najib brokered 'truce'. If Ong and Chua have agreed to kiss and make up for the sake of party unity, what about the so-called Third Force from MCA who have made it known that they neither want Ong nor Chua as they have their own political ambitions.

Whatever the case, the people behind the Third Force are still in MCA. What strange bedfellows they make. What about all the scum and skeletons that was dragged out by pro-MCA bloggers like Omar Goh Wei Liang and JUSTICE FOR ONG TEE KEAT from the closet? Are they and the rest of the MCA members and supporters going to kiss and make up as well and turn to selective amnesia to forget what was said and done for the sake of the party? If they do, they are nothing but first class hypocrites!

Now that the MCA EGM is done and dusted, it is clear who won; Ong Ka Ting and Chan Kong Choy. Even the aunties at the morning market will tell you that they are the 2 behind the '3rd force' who caused the 2 egoistic fools, who challenged each other in a do-or-die battle, to both lose.

I call them fools because they placed their egos above everything else. They have miscalculated their moves. They both thought too highly of themselves. One thought that being President and all he gets the upper hand and can call the shots and play the game from the inside. The other thought that he had nothing to lose and might as well go for broke.

In a game of high stake Baccarat, one placed all his chips on Banker while the other went all-in on Player. But the dealer won with a Tie. None of them are unlucky. The cards have simply been 'fixed'.

I am most pleased that MCA is now in shambles. And what this episode taught us is that Malaysian politicians have again shown that personal interests are of much more importance than that of the party, party members and the interested general public.

I tell you these 2 jokers really played a bad hand. And they played straight into the hands of Ong Ka Ting and Chan Kong Choy at that. It doesn't take much effort to know why the 2 former MCA taikos would want to kill off Ong Tee Keat using Chua Soi Lek as the bait.

Answer: PKFZ, Ling Liong Sik and UMNO. I will not elaborate on why these 3 put in so much effort to prepare the stage because the answer cannot get any more obvious.

By the way, did you really think that Ong Tee Keat is on leave now to sort out his MCA presidency? He is on leave now to sort out Transport Ministry (and other ministries where he has influence) contracts which he has promised and of which he is a beneficiary. That is why MCA's central committe is only meeting on Thursday. Why would anyone let the party be on auto cruise drift for 6 days?

This is Malaysia. Personal interests must be taken care of. Cronies' interests must be taken care of. UMNO's contracts must be taken care of. It will be too late to handle these by the time OTK resigns as MCA President and hence his ministerial position. UMNO and MCA have been working round the clock since Saturday evening to sort out all contracts and have them signed off this few days.

So, what's left for MCA now? Najib, Ling Liong Sik, Ong Ka Ting and Chan Kong Choy need to put a puppet on the pedestal now. But is there still anybody left?

Liow Tiong Lai is leading the race as I had previously predicted. But this guy is so young. How is he going to control the warlords of MCA. (Yes, from this EGM episode, it has been exposed that UMNO is not the only party controlled by warlords). Mind you most of the Chinese who will or may support MCA are most likely to be the elderly. Can this young chap who has never proven anything be able to win the Chinese support back? He is not even doing a good job running his Health Ministry. He handled H1N1 so badly - starting off with lies to Malaysians that the country is safe from this flu. It was like as though Malaysia is on another planet. And we of course know that he got bombarded like a school boy on meetings with top shots of affected industries for his lack of knowledge.

Side track: If Liow Tiong Lai gets to be president, Khairy must be thinking that he can take over UMNO very soon too. I can see Khairy setting up meetings with Omar Mustapha and gang planning their next steps already. Najib, watch out. You are about to get cucuk-ed from the back.

Kong Cho Ha's name has been thrown in as well. Kong who? Not very sure. What does he do at the Housing and Local Government Ministry? Actually, what does that ministry do? Do they have an office even? This is a low profile fellow. Not much coverage of him in the country. Can lead meh? He won't get to make president la. But then again, with UMNO calling the shots, you'll never know.
Malaysian Insider just mentioned Fong Chan Onn??? Hahaha... This guy still around one ah? Where did this former Minister of Human Resources pop out from? Just retire la uncle... By the way, I think he looks like Hong Kong comedian Michael Hui. You think so?

Back to Fong Chan Onn and politics. He had left the scene. If I were him, I'll continue to live at the sidelines. Come on la uncle, nobody hates you now. You've done no major harm to the Malaysian public in general. Lets keep it that way for your own good. Lest you be reincarnated an Indian in Malaysia in your next life. And one major name missing from the above is one Chua Jui Meng. No vision la this fellow. He is a politician; so don't come telling me that he left MCA because he saw the good of PKR. Had he not been too greedy, he will be the president come this Thursday. Hahaha... He must be kicking himself now.

It doesn't look like MCA has anyone. Ng Yen Yen is never going to make it in male chauvinistic MCA. Oh I forgot about Ong Ka Ting's elder brother. Never remember his name. Always the MCA President's brother. Hahaha... Ong Ka Chuan. Yes, that's his name. Maybe he got chance also although no longer popular within MCA. Apparently Ah Ting stil got power wor.
So matilah kau, MCA. UMNO is fed up with you and have decided to turn you inside out and upside down. UMNO will do a MIC on you. What will UMNO call the new MCA in BN? They have Makkal Sakthi Party to replace MIC. Fatt Choy Club, anyone?

By the way Malaysiakini reports that After a year-long bitter feud, Ong Tee Keat and his deposed deputy Chua Soi Lek have agreed to bury the hatchet to unite the party or is it because of Najib Razak and Umno? Strange bedfellows indeed. Maybe, Ong and Chua will feature in another DVD kissing and making up in a hotel room courtesy of the Third Force from MCA. Whatever the case, MCA is dead and buried. We'll remember MCA come Qing Ming.

Wa Liow eh ! Why lie through your teeth , my friend ?

KUALA LUMPUR - MCA president Ong Tee Keat and his deputy Liow Tiong Lai had already met at a hotel here on Sunday, it is reliably learnt today.
This is contrary to Liow’s claims that he was still trying to fix a meeting with Ong to find what he described as an ‘amicable solution’ to the leadership crisis.

An associate of the corporate figure who arranged the meeting revealed that at Sunday’s meeting, Liow had insisted that he be allowed to helm the party.

Liow just wants to be president

It is also learnt that Liow was also persistent in getting the president to call off the second Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) aimed at getting a mandate from the central delegates on whether fresh polls for the central committee should be held.

The source said that at the meeting, Liow had only one thing in mind – to get Ong to hand over the party presidency to him. This was the short cut to the hot seat Liow wanted, disregarding whether it was right to do so without seeking a mandate from the central delegates.

A senior party leader, who asked not to be named, took Liow to task for attempting to portray Ong as being aloof and not being accommodating by saying that he had yet to get an appointment from Ong until now.

Liow had publicly declared that that the CC was not in favour of another EGM and that he was seeking the appointment as soon as possible with the party president.

“The actual fact is that the meeting had already taken place and how can Liow lie through his teeth. I wonder why he has to lie on such a simple matter," the party leader posed.

He questioned the motives of Liow for saying that he was still trying to confirm with the president for a suitable date for a meeting.

“If he can twist and turn over such a small matter as to whether a meeting had taken place, I wonder if he can be trusted to lead the party or handle other matters of national interest,” he said.

“We need a leader who is righteous and not those after personal glory and an easy way to reach the top.”

The insider said that Liow had also met Ong on Wednesday, which was the eve of the CC meeting and he could have discussed with the president about his intentions then.
But Liow became jittery when Ong indicated that he might stay.

Taken aback with Ong’s possible change of mind, Liow immediately called for a secret meeting with several party leaders at Nikko Hotel that night.

What else could be on the agenda of the secret meeting than to hatch a plot to get rid of the party president and grab the prize for himself with the help of stooges whom he would promise heaven and earth!

Meetings

Meetings seem a necessary evil of working life.

They are needed to share information but take away time from productive work.

There are various expenses involved, air pollution (if driving or
flying to a meeting) and the way meetings are conducted often leaves
much to be desired.

For example, what is the point of the Minutes of a meeting being
distributed only at the next meeting?

Shouldn't the Minutes be distributed soon after the meeting, so they
can be acted upon before the next meeting?

Are there alternatives to meeting face to face?

With the internet and e-Government and email, can't video conferencing
and email be used?

If the meeting is to discuss a survey, the above electronic
communications should suffice.

The actual survey form could be an email attachment that is filled up
and emailed back to the sender.

That would save a LOT of time and expense compared with face to face meetings.

The above i believe is generally applicable, although what caused me
to write on the topic was the apparent arrogance and short-sightedness
of the Health Ministry, as revealed in a letter from a doctor to

Chasing Jobs

Looking for a job is never easy.

It can be a full time job to make a favourable impression on a company.

Job seekers put a lot of effort and expense (petrol, bus, taxi, LRT,
photos, parking) into finding employment.

Whether they are seeking the position of Nurse, Engineer or Clerk
etc., they are often asked for a passport size photo and asked if they
are married, what is their race, religion, do they have any
deformities, etc.

What do those things matter?

Isn't all that matters do they have the training, aptitudes and
attitudes that are required to perform the job?

Shouldn't asking such personal questions and requesting such photos of
job seekers be banned?

At such time as someone is hired, a photo may be needed, for a company
ID tag. That's OK..

I practice what i preach when i hire staff. I tak kira bangsa, ugama,
etc. I consider whether the job applicant is suited to the job and the
company culture.

Investing in Malaysia

Investment always has some risk.

Companies try to minimise risk when deciding where to invest.

Would Malaysia be attractive as a place to invest?

Do the slow internet speeds make it attractive? Australians don't think so.

Does the lack of an independent judiciary make it attractive?

Since Mahathir wreaked havoc on the judiciary, it has been under
control of the Executive, meaning under control of the Prime Minister.

Let's imagine we are a foreign company considering where to invest.

We look at Malaysia and note it has a large, fairly educated, fairly
literate population, English is widely spoken.

That is good, the workforce won't be much problem.

The government offers large tax breaks as incentives. Again good,
though artificial, as taxes are created by the government.

Companies don't operate in a vacuum, they need to liaise with
suppliers, distributors, etc.

Legal disputes may arise.

Let's imagine a legal dispute with a GLC (government linked company).

The legal system in Malaysia is NOT independent, it is under control
of the Prime Minister.

Government officials, or their relatives, may have financial interests
in the GLC.

So, will the court be fair and objective or favour the GLC?

It makes investing in Malaysia a gamble.

There's the DNA Bill.

It could be a tool to catch people stealing inventory.

What else could it be?

Could it be used for blackmail?

Could the company be pressured to give away trade secrets, such as
secret formulas?

An executive of the company could be told if they don't give certain
information to a rival company, which just happens to be a GLC, the
executive will be charged with adultery and DNA proof of adultery will
be presented in court, where DNA evidence, under Clause 24 of the DNA
Bill, can't be challenged.

The company considers other countries, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand
as alternatives to Malaysia.

The MCA Boot Licker Club Also Licks Umno's Ass

"People who used to boot lick the President (Ong Tee Keat) suddenly show their ugly faces for the President to see. They have no respect to the chair of the President!"

The power struggle within MCA has become so dirty that the true nature of MCA members and their supporters has been exposed wide open for the world to see. It is now a no holds barred free for all within MCA as the destruction of the ethnic Chinese political party continues as we speak. This is indeed the true nature of Barisan Nasional and its component members.

Senior MCA leader and ally of Ong Tee Keat, Ti Lian Ker summed up pretty well what MCA anfd its members were like when he wrote in his Blog the following:

"The following day in the Central Committee was the most fiery, rough and crude CC Meeting we ever had. Individuals who were beneficiaries of the President's office turned into vultures seeking for dead bodies and the intended corpse was the President's body.

People (Non Central Committee Members) who were present in the meeting by the President's invitation and can only speak when allowed by the President were suddenly speaking in an unbecoming tone dictating to the President without seeking his permission to speak. People who used to boot lick the President suddenly show their ugly faces for the President to see. They have no respect to the chair of the President!

God only knows how the pain and agony was written all over the President's face. The siege from within surrounding and attacking the President was too much for some of the CC Members to stomach. People who were known to be in the other camp couldn't stomach the evilness in the air. Some came to the President's rescue not out of good will but strictly out of good conscience."

Umno's invisble hand in all this is clear for all to see. Yet we find ethnic Chinese such as Omar Goh Wei Liang despite claiming to stand up for Ong Tee Keat dare not condemn former PM Mahathir Mohamed and Umno leaders such as PM Najib, DPM Muhydeen Yassin and a host of Umno leaders who have openly called for the ouster of Ong Tee Keat. Mahathir, just like the rest of Umno see Ong Tee Keat as a loose cannon who has turned into a liability for both Umno and BN. Mahathir and Umno fear that Tee Keat will spill the beans in implicating Umno and its top honchos in the PKFZ Scandal. That's why Umno is making sure that Tee Keat goes and is replaced by 'Umno friendly' MCA leaders who are spinelles and tainted just like the Umno leadership.

Unlike individuals like Omar Goh who claim to support Tee Keat but have not got the guts to condemn Mahathir and Umno who are behind the instability of MCA, at least we have an individual going by the Blog name JUSTICE FOR ONG TEE KEAT having the guts to point the finger at Umno as the main culprit who want Tee Keat out of MCA. For this reason, I'm reproducing a satire written by JUSTICE FOR ONG TEE KEAT which very much sums up the sorry state MCA is in right now.

Besides the three stooges , the others beating the drums are the Merry go round fella , Chinese say long long sik , the Ongs Brothers Sdn Bhd (Ong Ka Ting & Ong Ka Chuan) , the Koon Choy maker (Chan Kong Choy), the Sin Chu Pai fella , the Donald Duck fella (Donald Lim) , just to many can't finish naming them with the last name I can think off is the rotten fish head junior.

The financiers , from the big companies called Kuda Bomensi (Kuala Dimensi) , and others who have pledge to finance the whole operation or training exercise .

The Armno (Umno) Club Managers who decides who to field and whom he wants to win , your guess is as good as mine whom we are talking about , the unseen hand who places all the big bets in their private rooms , some of whom have surfaced to demand our star player to be removed , to step down . Just to name a few, we have the Kerismuddin guy (Hishamuddin Hussein) , The Tengku guy (Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor) who was mentioned in the Lingam's correct , correct , correct case , and the MOHiding (Muhydeen Yassin) , not Ministry of Hell in hiding , fella .

Then we have our own players who made sure they shoot into our own goals , just to make sure what the Boss wants , the Big Time punters want , gets what they want . Yeah shoot into our own goal posts . Need to name ? 22 of them , including the Sec Gen . What a shame Wong ! Please put your head under the sarong provided . There is some light though from Perak , three of them didn't sign , Ms Heng , Lee and Mah didn't sign . The 22 famous names can be found in the Chinese newspapers , go read them and find out who likes to shoot into their own goals .

Not forgetting the football hooligans club who insisted that their members must follow the crowd . They have a big following , comprising of the Wah Kee group who is under the control of the Bentong guy and who have quite a following among the CDs , the other being the Red Door who have thier influence in Perak notably with a taikor going by the surname of Ong . Likes to 'chuan' or squeeze others into submission .

So you can see OTK was playing football single handedly against the whole field and yet they only managed to get a penalty shoot . 14 votes majority ! OTK is indeed the STAR player to have outplayed the whole bunch of them ."

After reading this, one can safely conclude that if this was cancer, MCA would be in Stage 4. Anyone who claims to be decent would leave tainted MCA by now less he or she wants to be considered a political pariah.

Malaysia Now A Police State With DNA Bill

Police often lie to suspects when questioning them, to mislead the
suspect to reveal information they would otherwise not give the
police. Lying is a common tool of police.

Despite the PI Bala being ex-police and knowing that police lie, Bala
still believed his ex-colleague and friend in the Brickfields police
who invited Bala for a teh tarik after Bala's first SD.

What Bala found instead of teh tarik was that the machinery of
government had moved hyperfast and prepared a second SD negating the
first SD, also Bala found the government had engaged a different
lawyer for the second SD.

After presenting the second SD, Bala, his wife and children
disappeared. Some time later, there was also no news of Bala's nephew,
who had been close to Bala and very worried when Bala disappeared.

What happened to Bala and his relatives?

Because the police lie as a normal thing in police work, they could
very well lie when presenting DNA evidence in court.

For example, the police could lie that a suspect's DNA matches the DNA
from a crime scene when in fact there is NOT a match. The police could
also simply decide to avoid the trouble and expense of DNA testing and
claim there is a match with a suspect's DNA when actually a DNA test
was never performed.

A general question: What court or judge or lawyer would allow a Bill
that removes the right to challenge something in court? If no
challenge is possible, the courts, judges and lawyers will be
unemployed, as they would have nothing to do.

Clause 24 of the DNA Bill prevents challenging DNA evidence in court,
however, other challenges might be possible.

A court, or Parliament, may be able to challenge the validity of the
Bill itself.

The validity of the Bill is suspect because of the removal of judicial review.

Removing judicial review and putting handling of DNA evidence under
the police violates the separation of powers of the Executive and the
Judiciary.

The lack of judicial review is a characteristic of police states, NOT
democracies.

With passage of the DNA Bill, Malaysia is officially a police state,
although it has been an unofficial police state for some decades,
thanks in large part to Mahathir's molest and rape of the judiciary,
including ending trial by jury.

Malaysia URGENTLY needs a return of trial by jury.

Have you noticed, in all the talk by the government about judicial
reforms, trial by jury has NEVER been mentioned?

That's because trial by jury is what the government fears MOST.

The absence of trial by jury is the MOST powerful tool the government
has against the rakyat, even more powerful than the ISA.

That is why the government has talked of reviewing the ISA but NEVER,
not even ONCE, spoken of considering a return of trial by jury.

When there is trial by jury, the rakyat, not a judge, decides guilt or
innocence of an accused.

The government can control a judge but it can't control the rakyat,
that's why the government is truly terrified of trial by jury.

A Basic Principle - Clause 24

Although this article is on a serious matter, Clause 24 of the DNA
Bill, I will begin on a light note that is a pun and conclude with yet
another pun.

My cat has six toes on each foot. It's a rare mutation that led me to
name my cat Claws 24.

Now for the serious stuff. A court is the appropriate forum, in fact
the only forum, to challenge evidence in a trial. That's a basic
principle.

Because of that, any ban on challenging evidence in court makes the
court useless and irrelevant. The effect of such a ban is to make the
court non-existent, because such ban makes possible conviction of an
accused on evidence that contains an error, is fabricated or in fact
even non-existent although claimed to exist.

Some problems with convicting an accused solely on the basis of DNA:
DNA evidence can be easily contaminated with other DNA or damaged (the
strands of DNA broken into smaller pieces) and it can even be

claiming that there is DNA evidence of guilt of the accused.

Here is a way they may become bitten:

First, 2 facts:

Fact 1: Everywhere we go we are leaving samples of our DNA. The
samples are small, but they can be amplified by a method called PCR,
until there is sufficient DNA for testing.

Fact 2: When a woman is pregnant, some cells from the baby inside her

Even if the DNA match were to be totally fabricated or non-existent,
it would still be impossible for Najib to challenge in any court,
because of Clause 24.

Thus Najib, because of Clause 24, could be found, without any means to
challenge the evidence, to have impregnated Altantuya, giving motive
for Rosmah to want to kill Altantuya.

With motive to kill Altantuya and Rosmah being present at the place
Altantuya was killed, her presence at the murder scene being claimed
by both Bala's first SD and by RPK, presumably Rosmah wanted to be
there to be confident that Altantuya was truly dead, Rosmah could be
convicted of murder and sent to the gallows.

The long saga of the murder of Altantuya would thus finally conclude.

Malaysians might gain a new peribahasa (saying) from the sordid tale,
"It's not over until the fat lady hangs".

Umno's Coup D'Etat of MCA

It is now becoming very clear that when PM Najib Razak started with his 1Malaysia thingy he wasn't talking about 1 Nation and 1 Bangsa Malaysia. While the oxymorons in BN were singing praises about Najib Razak's 1Malaysia thingy, Umno was establishing itself as 1Malaysia under 1Party. The crisis afflicting all the BN component parties including MCA today is actually not a crisis but a process of Umnonization of these parties by Umno.

For those who think that former PM Mahathir Mohamed had nothing to do with the crisis affecting MCA, MIC, Gerakan PPP etc., think again. Mahathir is the architect of the crisis afflicting these BN component parties. Najib may be PM, but it is Mahathir who is calling the shots. All these talk about 1Malaysia is nothing but a deception by Umno to gain back support from the non Malays which it lost in the last General Election. Do you really believe Umno cares about the non Malays and non Muslims? The aftermath of the 2008 General Election saw Umno blaiming BN's poor performance on it's component partners. Mahathir knows that for Umno to be Numero Uno in Malaysian politics, it has to win over non Malay non Muslim support away from Pakatan Rakyat.

Umno has resigned to the fact that MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PPP et al cannot be relied upon to deliver crucial non Malay non Muslim votes to BN. Hence, what Umno has done now is to rule these BN component parties through Umno proxies or better put Umno stooges. Mahathir of all people has all the dirt he needs to nail the current crop of BN leaders whether they are from Umno or from MCA, MIC, Gerakan and PPP. The game plan for Umno's coup d'etat of these BN component parties is simple. Make sure that tainted leaders with a lot of baggage lead these parties and get them to do Umno's bidding failing which they end up like poor Tiong King Sing. Why do you think a useless, good for nothing Umno apple polisher like Koh Tsu Koon gets to be Gerakan President and also a cabinet Minister? Well, Koh Tsu Koon is the Umno puppet installed by Mahathir et al to take care of Umno's interests in Gerakan.

Mahathir has already decreed that Samy Vellu is a liability to BN if he continues to lead MIC. Thus is comes as no surprise that PM Najib supports the Makkal Sakti Party of Malaysia. Umno sees that it can pull Indian support better by hijacking the Makkal Sakti war cry to it's advantage. MIC, PPP, MUIP, IPF will remain as political pariahs while Umno proxy Makkal Sakti Party of Malaysia ascends as the 'Voice' of the ethnic Indians in Malaysia.

Coming back to the current crisis plaguing MCA, a look at those who are aspiring to take over the leadership of MCA from Ong Tee Keat and Gang shows a very clear picture why Umno would want these individuals to run MCA.

Liow Tiong Lai (MCA Deputy President and Federal Health Minister):

Bought half a million Ringgit worth of birthday presents for his wife in January 2009. Bought a Toyota Alphard costing RM 574,884.10. (Car number plate WSB 15) Must have been paid by Axis Construction Sdn.Bhd, the company that always appears in Tiong Lai's Health Ministry's winning tender list. A cheque was issued on January 2009, HLB 373727 (RM 324,884.10) from Axis Construction to the car dealer for the car WSB 15. Another cheque HLB 373727 (RM 9,299.90) was paid to the seller. On the 19th of each month, Benny Ho of Axis construction will deposit RM 4,730 into Public Bank Savings Account Number 4487469902. Some of the check numbers are HLB 359666 and HLB 383393.

Wee Ka Siong:

Has a consultancy firm in Johore and according to some sources his firm is doing consultancy services for Kuala Dimensi . If this is true , then by his actions he has what we call a running dog for some organization while benefitting in many ways , like getting promoted to become a full Minister and his company will reap more contracts .

Kong Cho Ha:

Kong Cho Heng also known as Panjang from Setiawan, Perak, was arrested in Dec 2006 under Sec 3(1) Emergency Ordinance. Panjang is the leader of a Chinese Secret Society. He leads a gang collection protection money from businessmen in Setiawan. His gang members often use threat, criminal intimidation as well as force and violent to achieve their objective. They are responsible in several cases of assault and causing severe injuries in Setiawan. Panjang is the younger brother of YB Dato’ Kong Cho Ha, Housing and Local Government Minister. Sources said police applied to detained Panjang under Sec 4(1) Emergency Ordinance was rejested in the mid Jan 2007 and he was ordered by YB Dato Johari Bin Baharom to be released immediately with no further reasons. It has also common knowledge among folks in Sitiawan and Manjung district that the family of Datuk Kong operates the largest illegal empat ekor in those two districts .

It appears that Umno has got the so-called loyalists of Ong Tee Keat betray him among them are Liow Tiong Lai, Mah Hang Soon (the pariah doctor Exco under Mamak Zambry's illegal Perak BN government), Datuk Chor Chee Heung, Wong Nai Chee, Datuk Wong Siong Hwee, Datuk Wong Mook Leong, Datuk Dr Yeow Chai Tian and Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun, Wee Ka Siong, and Ng Yen Yen. According to MCA party sources so-called Ong Tee Keat loyalist like Chor Chee Heung, Wong Nai Chee and Chew Mei Fun started harping for Ong to quit, arguing that he had lost the confidence of the party members.

When the dust finally settles in MCA, it is very likely that Umno's running dog in MCA, Wee Ka Siong will eventually lead MCA. Umno wants to get rid of Ong Tee Keat at all cost because Ong has become a liability to Mahathir and Umno as he may spill the beans on Mahathir and the rest of the Umno warlords involvement in the PKFZ scandal in order to save himself.

Ong Tee Keat diehard supporter Omar Goh Wei Liang wrote in his Blog APOMM that there is now a Free For All in MCA. Omar Goh wrote:

Neither UMNO nor any Barisan Nasional leaders can argue their way in MCA's leadership crisis today because indeed the Party Constitution remains Supreme, just like how in Perak when Opposition ADUNS quit to become Independents who favored BN sparked a political crisis. At that time, the Constitution was referred to as the most supreme and was decisive in today's politics in Perak. Of course, we need not go into details to argue and compare MCA leadership crisis with Perak's political crisis. I believe all individuals, supporters and leaders of Barisan Nasional understand this clearly.MCA's problem remains with MCA. Today, as a result of infighting, MCA is nearly in ruins. And many are now stepping up to stake a claim on the President and Deputy President's office. Free for all and all hell breaks lose in MCA. Nak gaduh sampai bila MCA ?

Another diehard Ong Tee Keat supporter Justice4OTK wrote:

Soon after the results were announced, ambitious leaders, who have one thing in mind – to grab power – have been meeting on the sidelines and brokering deals to strike up an understanding on who should take the lead in the one-million membership party. But too many leaders are now staking a claim for the throne. Vice-president Kong Cho Ha had said that he was ready to helm the party while another vice president Dr Ng Yen Yen feels that she is the most senior in the party to lead the party. Even those who lost in the party elections just last year are now banking on fresh party polls to make a comeback. It will be no surprise if Chua also attempt a comeback by contesting in the fresh polls. Even those forgettable leaders like Dr Fong Chan Onn and former vice-president Donald Lim Siang Chai have expressed their wish to also jump in the bandwagon for the coveted title in the party.

It is because of his traits that did not go down well with the big boys in Umno who preferred a docile leader who can be manipulated. It is actually a great disgrace that some of the party’s leaders were already clamouring for positions even when Ong had not expressed his intention of quitting his post.

Whatever the case, Umno will drag MCA and the rest of its BN component partners to the abyss as it continues to interfere in the internal affairs of these parties for its own benefit while the leaders and supporters of these parties are either blinded or continue to be in denial as Umno continues its coup d'etat over the BN component parties.

As for MCA, it is finished as a political force thanks to Umno.

A Basic Principle

Although this article is on a serious matter, Clause 24 of the DNA
Bill, I will begin on a light note that is a pun and conclude with yet
another pun.

My cat has six toes on each foot. It's a rare mutation that led me to
name my cat Claws 24.

Now for the serious stuff. A court is the appropriate forum, in fact
the only forum, to challenge evidence in a trial. That's a basic
principle.

Because of that, any ban on challenging evidence in court makes the
court useless and irrelevant. The effect of such a ban is to make the
court non-existent, because such ban makes possible conviction of an
accused on evidence that contains an error, is fabricated or in fact
even non-existent although claimed to exist.

Some problems with convicting an accused solely on the basis of DNA:
DNA evidence can be easily contaminated with other DNA or damaged (the
strands of DNA broken into smaller pieces) and it can even be

Clause 24 makes the DNA Bill a tool to convict anyone of anything, by
claiming that there is DNA evidence of guilt of the accused.

People prepare themselves for the festival weeks ahead, by cleaning and decorating their premises.

The main festival day falls on the no-moon day of the dark half of Kartik, according to the Hindu lunar calendar. Celebrated with vigor and gaiety by people of every religion, the magical effect of Diwali creates an atmosphere of joy and festivity. Innumerable lamps are lit on the roofs and windowsills of the houses, thus, giving a divine look to the whole scenario. It is said that Lakshmi, Goddess of Wealth, roams the earth on this day and enters the house that is pure, clean and brightly illuminated. Therefore, people, before exchanging gifts and bursting crackers, offer prayers to the deity.

Young and old, men and women, all dress up in new clothes on this day to illuminate their home with diyas. The deities of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshipped on Diwali, after which, the people share sweets and gifts with their relatives and friends. Fireworks, which attract the kids the most, form the highlight of the festival. The festive mood extends to the couple of days following the main day of the festival. Deepawali symbolizes the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness. It is the celebration of victory of good over evil - and the glory of light.

Devils - A Brief Tutorial

People tend to choose the Devil they know instead of the Devil they don't know.

They do that because they don't THINK before choosing.

Devil we know, such as BN: We know it's a DISASTER and will ALWAYS be
a DISASTER.

Devil we don't know, such as PKR/PAS: May be a DISASTER, may be
EXCELLENT, may be just OK-lah. Those are the odds by mere chance. We
can't predict the future accurately, so let's allow chance to guide
us.

Devil we know, BN: 3/3 chance [100%] DISASTER

Devil we don't know PKR/PAS: 1/3 chance of DISASTER, 1/3 chance of
OK-lah, 1/3 chance of EXCELLENT.

Thus we can see that the Devil we don't know has a 2/3 chance of being
better than Devil we know.

Let us embrace the Devil we don't know and avoid giving the BN another
landslide victory.

Come what may, DON'T vote BN, vote anything else, vote the Devil you
don't know, proven above to probably be better than the Devil we know.

Junk Science

The article claims that LBA is NOT junk science, BECAUSE LBA uses some
of the same technical terms that medical science uses and BECAUSE
someone doing LBA sees the same features of RBCs (red blood cells)
that a medical lab technician sees.

To see the falsehood of those claims by the article consider the
following analogies:

If someone says "myocarditis" for inflammation of the heart muscle and
"hypertension" for high blood pressure, does that make the pesrson a
doctor? Of course not!

When someone watches an English Premier League game on Astro and sees
the same goal kick a referee at the game sees, does that make a viewer
seated in a Mamak shop watching the game an EPL referee? Of course it
does not!

RBC defects can have many causes, genetic, parasites, medicines, etc.
Doctors are trained to do the proper differential diagnosis, meaning
determining the cause of the RBC defect, because obviously the
treatment is different for different causes.

The author is a homeopathic doctor (an oxymoron). Homeopathy is NOT
scientific, as you shall see.

Hommeopathy claims to cure people by giving extremely dilute doses of
a substance that would cause a healthy person the same symptoms as the
ill person if the substance were given in larger concentration to the
healthy person. (The homeopathic "law of similars".)

Thus, homeopathy states that if an ill person has a fever, treat them
with a substance that would cause a healthy person to have a fever,
but give the ill person an extremely dilute dose, literally diluted
pehaps to 0.001 percent concentration, meaning one part in 100,000
parts.

Firstly, the "law of similars" is illogical, secondly how can anything
extremely diluted have any effect?

Well, it CAN'T, not directly.

Any effect of homeopathy is the placebo effect, whereby someone's
expectation of getting better makes them feel better OR the well-known
fact that most fevers go away on their own after a few days,
homeopathic treatment or no treatment.

LBA is truly junk science, anyone who says otherwise is either
ignorant or lying.
