Sigh.... Allah is the God of both Christians and Muslims. There is only one true God and Allah merely happens to be one of His names.
If a person goes into a church and chants Allahuakbar with no intention of insulting or demeaning the religion but is honestly serious (as incredible as that may sound) then no insult was intended.
If any insult was perceived, then there is what we call 'dialogue' to clear the air.
Arab Christians use Allah to refer to Allmighty God. Malay Christians in Indonesia likewise uses Allah to refer to Allmighty God.
I do not understand the comment: "Muslims can actually go around teasing the Christians on the use of Allah". How can it be considered teasing to suggest that the Allmighty God can also be called Allah? After all certain segments of Christians in parts of the world do use Allah to refer to Allmighty God.

I would like to know:
-How many Malaysian Muslims can read and understand the above verse.
-How many Malaysian Christians can read and understand the above verse.
Now, compare with the following paragraph and apply my earlier 2 questions:
The pagan Arabs worshipped the Moon-god Allah by praying toward Mecca several times a day; making a pilgrimage to Mecca; running around the temple of the Moon-god called the Kabah; kissing the black stone; killing an animal in sacrifice to the Moon-god; throwing stones at the devil; fasting for the month which begins and ends with the crescent moon; giving alms to the poor, etc.
The Muslim's claim that Allah is the God of the Bible and that Islam arose from the religion of the prophets and apostles is refuted by solid, overwhelming archeological evidence. Islam is nothing more than a revival of the ancient Moon-god cult. It has taken the symbols, the rites, the ceremonies, and even the name of its god from the ancient pagan religion of the Moon-god. As such, it is sheer idolatry and must be rejected by all those who follow the Torah and Gospel.
FYI the above Arabic text is taken from John 1:1 while the later 2 paragraphs are taken from an Australian Christian website.
After answering my 2 questions, you will notice that English is more familiar in Malaysia than Arabic. Some people (both Malaysian Christians and Muslims alike) may actually call the above verse as Quran or Jawi due to lack of knowledge in their respective religions ( because I heard stories about Christians who thought that verses from KJV are Pickthall's Quran translation).
Both the Arabic Bible verse and the 2 paragraphs are coming from Christian sources. So WHAT'S WITH THE CONTRADICTIONS?
