Christians Must Never Be Made To Compromise On 'Allah'

By Admin

The Sabah Justices of the Peace and their president Clarence Bongkos Malakun have asked Christians to compromise by not using the word 'Allah' to pacify the anger of the Muslims. Malakun is a Catholic from the ruling Evil BN regime which comes as no surprise that he has decided to be another Judas just like the other Christians in BN like Joseph Pairin Kitinggan, Joseph Kurup, Peter Chin, Bernard Dompok, Alfred Jabu, Tan Cheng Liang, Michael Chong et al.

Already, Utusan Malaysia reports that the Sultan of Selangor has said that only Muslims should use the word 'Allah'. If this is not another spin by Umno owned Utusan Malaysia, then the Monarchy in Malaysia is detached from 40% of Malaysians and also risked being 'disowned ' by non Muslim Malaysians.

One of the problems affecting Malaysia all these years is that the 'Yes Man' attitude of the non Umno BN component parties and their leaders who are always subservient to their political masters, Umno. Very often, the views expressed by non Malay non Muslim leaders in BN is often construed as the views of the communities they represent. The same now is in the case of Malakum's views, is taken by the Government that the majority of Christians do not agree with the use of 'Allah' by the Church. It has been reported by Malaysiakini that Clarence Bongkos Malakun appeared to have recanted on his statement suggesting a 'compromise' on the use of the term Allah for God.

With the BN/Umno regime going on the offensive against the Church on the 'Allah' issue (Umno's dirty hand in this issue can be found here http://malaysia-today.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=29557:still-deny-that-umno-is-behind-the-church-attacks&catid=20:no-holds-barred&Itemid=100087
, the feed dragging by the Police, the spate of arson attacks on Churches and now, the Sultan of Selangor saying that only Muslims can use the term 'Allah'. Any compromise made by the Christians on this issue or even a Court ruling banning Christians from calling God Allah, will actually put Islam and Muslims in a bad light in the eyes of the World.

The World will view Islam and Muslims as intolerant, violent, uncompromising, chauvinistic, arrogant and uncivilized. Is this the image of Islam and Muslims Malaysia wants to project to the World? What's happening here will give Islamophobes and Zionists plenty of ammunition to aim at Islam's credibility. One thing is for sure, it appears that while Evil BN/Umno is busy burning bridges of reconciliation and unity, Pakatan Rakyat and PAS are rebuilding them.
