Send flotilla to S’pore!

"The only one common thing in the Palestine, the Arabs and the Malays is that they are all muslims and nothing else ! So stop trying pretending to be the Arabs or from the Middle East and be proud of what you are ! No doubt some of the Umno made half breeds have ancestors from the Middle East but still you are not from there. Even though the Ketuanan Melayu embraced Islam which is only a few hundred years but what was the believe of the Ketunan Melayu before then ? So stop kissing the Arabs’ backside like shenanigan Mahathir does just because he has nothing else to call himself as the only race he can associate himself is his ancestor or better still his grand father was from Kerala in India known as a pariah there. He immigrated to Kedah just trying to get rid of that stigma no matter what he did or where he went to he was still a pariah and consequently his descendants , the shenanigan Mahathir and his descendants are also pariahs !"

IFJ accuses Hamas over shutdown of journalists’ union office in Gaza
The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) condemned the action of the Hamas Internal Security department which closed down the office of the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate (PJS) in Gaza, accusing them of ‘inexcusable intrusion” in the internal affairs of Palestinian journalists.

Hamas to step up executions of collaborators
Oct 27: Hamas authorities in Gaza have begun imposing the death penalty as part of a campaign against Palestinians found guilty of collaborating with Israel.

Two men have been executed in Gaza this year for passing information to Israeli forces. Dozens more are in jail.

But human rights workers say the executions have been carried out in violation of Palestinian law.

Omar Kaware is one of 42 men who share a single prison cell in Gaza’s main jail.

Metal bunks cram the room and the inmates share one toilet and one bathroom between them.

Every one of these men is accused of spying for Israel. And several, including Mr Kaware, have been sentenced to death.

Hamas-Fatah divide turns the lights out on Gazans
Oct 28: … for Gaza residents, a deep Palestinian divide – between Hamas and Fatah – not only prevents peace, but literally leaves them in the dark. The streets here hum with hundreds of diesel-powered generators, the only line of defense against a war-damaged electric grid that plunges the territory into 8-hour-long rolling blackouts each day.

The lack of electricity is largely due to a protracted disagreement between Gaza’s Hamas government and the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank over who will pay the territory’s electricity bill, estimated at more than 80 million shekels ($21 million) each month.

Both Hamas and Fatah accuse each other of corruption and of mishandling tax revenue and international aid, all to the detriment of Gaza’s 1.5 million residents.

While Hamas and Fatah are accusing each other of being corrupt and “mishandling” the generous donations, Transparency International in its 2010 perception index ranked the top three least corrupt countries in the world as Singapore, Denmark and New Zealand — all tied for first place. Tied at 4th place are Finland and Sweden. Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia and Norway round up the Top 10.

Since Singapore has topped the world, the next time government servants ‘buat lawatan sambil belajar’, they should make Malaysia’s small, southern neighbour the destination of choice for study tours. A lot can be learned from the island republic in the way institutions are run.

In fact, Malaysia’s ‘pegawai-pegawai kerajaan’ should be going there in droves. Rather than book flight tickets for so many, we suggest sending them by flotilla so that the officials ‘yang sibuk berkursus’ can visit Singapore by the boatloads. Read more http://hartalmsm.wordpress.com/

Operasi Lallang II Imminent As Newly Renovated Kamunting Camp Can Hold Thousands of Detainees!!!

By Admin

If there was a common thread in the speeches made by Umno leaders during the just concluded Umno General Assembly, it must have been the hysterical repetition of 'defending Putrajaya' at all 'COSTS'! BN/Umno appears to be on panic mode as public confidence on the Regime is eroding by the day.

PM Najib Razak will certainly call for a snap General Election within the next 6 months as the longer he waits, the more the support for BN/Umno will erode. The only way Najib can Neutralize Pakatan Rakyat and hence keep Putrajaya in the hands of BN/Umno is to do what his father, former PM Tun Razak did by wiping away Opposition gains in the 1969 GE by declaring a State of Emergency and suspend Parliament at the aftermath of the May 13 Tragedy in which the Opposition was blamed. When the dusts was settled, the Opposition saw itself losing power and Alliance / BN was able to get back to the status quo. It appears that PM Najib may just follow what his daddy did in 1969.

All Najib needs to do is to get the clowns from PERKASA to clash with Makkal Sakti Party or MCA so that he can declare Emergency and blame it all on Pakatan Rakyat, Bloggers, Social Activists, the Bar Council, Academicians, Journalists and Religious leaders. The Scribe has been reliably informed that the Kamunting ISA Detention Camp has been massively renovated that it will be able to hold thousands of detainees. So, hold your breath folks, Operasi Lallang II is just round the corner. This is the only way the BN/Umno Regime of Najib Razak will be able to hold on to power. SODOMY II - Checkmate!

By Pakac Luteb

The charade in court continues.

Anwar Ibrahim's lawyers are denied a very reasonable request, access
to the case notes on which a medical report is based.

But the denial really makes NO difference in the outcome of the case

Antibody testing of Saiful's blood could clearly show if Saiful was
speaking truthfully or lying when he testified that Anwar Ibrahim had
sodomised him multiple times over a period of months, without a
condom.

If Saiful was telling the truth, Saiful's blood would contain
antibodies to Anwar Ibrahim's semen and sperm.

If no such antibodies are found in Saiful's blood, then Saiful was
lying in court.

Please read this:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1194431/pdf/genitmed00043-0011.pdf

It's a study by the National Institutes of Health in the USA.

The study describes what i said about antibodies being produced when
semen and sperm are deposited in the rectum.

I challenge the prosecution and defence to do the antibody testing and
do it properly, no cheating.

Dear AG Gani Patail, the case against Anwar Ibrahimm is sitting on a
bad foundation. A big "hole" is about to "open up" and "swallow" the
case.

I'm confident about the outcome of the antibody testing, if it's done
fairly and correctly, without cheating.

Dear AG, as the winner of a chess game says "checkmate" to the loser,
I say "checkmate, game over" to you.

Drop the case against Anwar Ibrahim, before the "hole" "opens up" and
"swallows" you.

Bad karma for Umno Youth & Palestinians

Courtesy of Hartal MSM

Selangor delegate Zainuri Zainal at the Umno Youth general assembly criticized a disabled rights group for staging their protest over the Kuala Langat municipal council’s decision to kill nine dogs.

The animals belonged to a suspect in the murder of cosmetics queen Sosilawati Lawiya.

DETONATING DONKEYS

The Taliban exploded a donkey in April this year, killing three children and wounding four others.

May 25, 2010: Palestinians heaped 200kg of dynamite on a donkey cart near a security barrier that separates Gaza from Israel. They detonated the explosives and blew up the donkey. Israeli soldiers escaped injury.

June 8, 2009: Palestinians gunmen loaded at least five horses with explosive devices and mines. They sent the animals to the Karni crossing between the Gaza and Israel to deliver death to the Jews.

Jan 26, 2003: Palestinians strapped a bomb to a donkey and then directed it towards an Israeli bus on the road between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. The bomb was detonated by remote control. The passengers all survived; the donkey didn’t.

In the YouTube below (click on image to play video), you’ll see that the Palestinians not only explode live animals but stuffed animals too. The booby-trapped teddy bear was meant to bomb Israeli children?

They must be running short of donkeys. Malaysia should volunteer to send ours — the two-legged variety — to Gaza on the next flotilla.

Admin Note:

It is ironic that when it is whether Palestinian Terrorists (ie. Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad), Al Qaeda, Jemaah Islamiah, Chechen Muslim Separatists, Janjaweed of Sudan continue to carry out carnage against not only non Muslims but also Muslims themselves, the Muslim Ummah (World) is eerily silent about it. Why? Is it because when Muslims kill non Muslim or other Muslims in the name of Islam it is Halal?

HINDRAF’s plea to Manmohan Singh

By Malaysia Hindu Voice

Welcoming Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s planned visit to Malaysia next week, the Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) Makkal Sakthi has urged him to raise issues concerning the welfare of ethnic Indian minority in that country.

The HINDRAF Makkal Sakthi Chairman, P. Waytha Moorthy, appealed to Dr. Singh to show a sense of “moral responsibility” towards the Malaysian Indians. He was urged to reciprocate their contribution towards India’s freedom struggle.

Dr. Singh could do so by placing the “concerns” of ethnic Indians on the agenda with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, said Mr. Waytha Moorthy over telephone from London, where he lives in exile. India should, rise above being “just India Inc.” P. Uthayakumar, leader of the Pro tem Human Rights Party Malaysia, sent a letter to Dr. Singh, requesting that Malaysian Indian students be granted scholarships for study in India. Referring to the planned opening of “Little India” in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Uthayakumar wrote: “The significance is only symbolic. Little India is no more than a little flower bazaar. Of greater significance to the Indian community in Malaysia will be … the provision of scholarships … [for] study in Indian universities.” The Pro tem party is the political wing of HINDRAF-Makkal Sakthi, a new name for the banned HINDRAF.

Linda Tsen, Please Answer Haris Ibrahim Truthfully.

By Admin

BN Sabah today announced Linda Tsen (pic above), the widow of the late Batu Sapi MP Edmund Chong, as their candidate for the Nov 4 by-election. Political observers see Linda's candidacy as a desperate attempt by BN to retain the Seat via sympathy votes. This is because After 45 years of sacrifice, contributing billions of Sabah's oil revenue to the nation, Sabah only got a meagre 5 percent of their oil revenue and has now become the poorest state in the federation. Sabahans have lost their land, their pride, their dignity, their sovereignty and their autonomy with millions of illegal immigrants being brought in under the wicked 'Project M'.

This resulted in untold damages and threats to the rights of the real bumiputeras in Sabah, who are still suffering in the longhouses without proper schools, roads, power and water and are living in poverty.

Linda in all her goodness must first answer these very important questions raised by Haris Ibrahim below if she wants the Rakyat (People) to see her as a Candidate of Integrity.

First, allow me to extend my condolences to you and your family on the tragic and sudden passing of your husband.

It can never be easy for a family when a loved one is snatched away so suddenly.

I also want to congratulate you on being picked by BN to contest in the forthcoming Batu Sapi by-election that has come about through Edmund’s passing.

FreeMalaysiaToday reports that you have asked the voters in Batu Sapi to give you the mandate on 4th November to allow you to continue Edmund’s work in the constituency.

“It is an opportunity for me to carry on with the legacy of good work of my late husband Edmund Chong,” FMT reports you as saying.

Now, I did not know Edmund personally, and he may very well have done much work for the people of Batu Sapi, but what did he do for them, as their representative, in Parliament?

I note that he was into his second term as the MP of Batu Sapi at the time of the tragic accident, as he was first elected in 2004.

Now, when the Bill to extend ex-EC chairman Rashid’s tenure for another year was tabled in Parliament in December, 2007, did Edmund just abide by the BN whip and vote in support of the Bill, or did he revert to the Batu Sapi constituents to get their mandate?

Did Edmund ever revert to the Batu Sapi constituents to update them on the matter of the death of Teoh Beng Hock, to seek their views on the same and to then endeavour to bring this matter up in Parliament?

Has Edmund ever brought up in Parliament the matter of the more than 1 million foreigners in Sabah who are in possession of Mykads?

You see, Linda, as good a man as Edmund might have been, he was also first and foremost a servant to UMNO before he was, if ever he truly was, a representative of the people of Batu Sapi in Parliament.

And as you now come forward and offer to step into his shoes, in reality, you offer the people of Batu Sapi no better than what Edmund brought to them.

In your campaign, will you tell the people of Batu Sapi what your thoughts are on the death of Beng Hock and the more than 1,800 other deaths in custody?

Will you share with them how you plan to bring up in Parliament the menace that Dr M’ project M and the more than 1 million ‘pendatangs’ with Mykads pose to the people of Sabah?

Will you share with them how you propose to bring up in Parliament how Sabahans have been denied the benefits that ought to have accrued to them pursuant to the 20-point agreement?

Don't Fall For BN/Umno's Version Of History!

By Admin

The BN/Umno regime of Najib Razak is going to make it compulsory for SPM students to pass their History Paper if they want to get their SPM Certificate. The Regime is also going to introduce History as a subject to Primary school children as well. As it is now, SPM students must pass their Malay Language Paper if the want to get the SPM Certificate.

The rationale for the BN/Umno Regime's action is that the Government believes that by making such a move the Government can make the younger generation understand what they (BN/Umno) consider to be the true History of the country i.e. Malay Supremacy, Islamic Supremacy, the supremacy of the Malay Rulers, Umno's sacrifice and struggle in winning independence, the notion that Malays arrived here first and non Malays as Pendatang (Immigrants) while at the same time 'exposing' anything contrary to the above as lies.

BN/Umno wants to propagate their perverted version of History in the minds of the younger generation as a means to hold on to power. The fact is if you want to make History compulsory, why not start telling the Truth, though the Truth might hurt.

Our History textbooks talk about how the British manipulated and intervened in the Malay States and colonized it. What they don't tell us is the fact that the British actually colonized the Malay States due to the greed and the craze for power on the part of the Malay Rulers. In fact, it was the Malay Rulers who invited the British to 'Campur tangan' (intervene) in their affairs. The British never came with guns blazing like the Spaniards did in Latin America. If the British did what the Spaniards did in Latin America, the Malays today will be Christians and have English as their mother tongue. In fact, Malaysian history textbooks conveniently leave out the fact that the Japanese brutalized the Chinese in Malaya but gave preferential treatment to the Malays and their Sultans. If there were any real heroes to talk about it would be Bintang Tiga which comprised of all the three main races in Malaya who fought not only the Japanese but also the British. They were made to be the 'Bad Guys' by the British because they were Communists. The Malays never really suffered as did those who were under the yoke of colonial rule by the Spaniards and French. In fact, there wouldn't even be Malay Rulers today. Some of the Malay heroes such as Datuk Maharaja Lela and Raja Haji are nothing but thugs and assassins who were paid mercenaries.

Even the current SPM History syllabus has 5 chapters on Islam alone with just a sprinkling about other religions. If you want to teach about history why not teach World history in it's fullest? To find out about the TRUTH of Malaysian History, please read the following links:

ISR (Individual Social Responsibility)

By Pakac Luteb

ISR (Individual Social Responsibility) is the concept that each of us
who is of sound mind,
whether we act alone or as part of a group, is responsible for our
action (or inaction) and the
resultant consequences to ourselves and others.

If we want the consequences to be a peaceful, harmonious society which
can flourish economically and socially, there are certain guidelines:

Don't be smug, even if your mind is blazingly fast, your intelligence
is about twice average and you're a member of MENSA.

Don't be smug, even if you own hundreds of hectares of prime land.

Don't be smug, even if your nett worth exceeds the GDP of some countries.

Don't be racist, people don't get to choose their skin colour or shape
of their nose.

Don't be anti-gay or anti-lesbian, others don't choose their sexual
orientation any more than you chose to be straight.

Don't be xenophobic, the world has many countries and cultures.

Don't be misogynist, people don't choose their gender.

Don't obey unlawful orders.

Do listen to other's opinions, you don't have a monopoly on good ideas.

Do help a blind person cross a busy road.

Do use resources wisely, Earth is not growing any larger, therefore
Earth's resources are finite and fixed. Already people use too much of
Earth's resources, for example the population of fish in the ocean
that we depend on for our food has already declined by 90%! It's
obvious that as population increases the quantum of resources
available to each person decreases.

Do have small families, one or two children. I wanted one, my excuse
for the second one is the condom broke. Sorry.

Much of the resources individuals depend on is not controlled by the
individuals dependent on the resource, more often the resource is
controlled by corporations and governments. That's particularly true
in the case of rivers, upstream activities impact people downstream.

With control of a resource comes responsibility for the welfare of the
people dependent on the resource.

For example, Taib Mahmud, his family and the timber companies in
Sarawak are responsible for the welfare of the Penan. They are also
responsible for any consequences, such as environmental damage,
resulting from their action or inaction.

People in corporations and politicians are accustomed to thinking
short-term, the next quarter, year or election. They have no choice
but to think that way, but they must also consider how their actions
will have impact over the next 50 years at least. Their old age and
the lives of their children and grandchildren will be affected by
their decisions.

Think carefully and act wisely, the future begins now.

To the MAX?

By Pakac Luteb

The Star had an article saying it's simply too expensive to bring
Highspeed Broadband (HSBB) to rural areas.

Is that true? Malaysia has satellite technology, can't it be used for broadband?

There is also a technology called WiMAX that is similar to the WiFi
that people use in Starbucks and other locations.

However, unlike WiFi, WiMAX can cover very large areas at broadband speed.

A few WiMAX locations would suffice to cover the whole of the Klang Valley.

Can't WiMAX bring highspeed broadband to rural areas?

please see my earlier writing about WiMAX, below in quotation marks.

Regarding the "War of the Tonys" the jibes between the heads of
AirAsia and Tiger Airways, it's disappointing that Tony Fernandes of
AirAsia has made stereotypical and racist remarks.

With his comments, Tony Fernandes has shown his true stripes and his
lack of maturity.

Tony Fernandes has been a role model, a Malaysian success story, but
with his comments and spending (wasting) money on a silly
advertisement, the shine of that role model has been tarnished.

What kind of people can we expect our children to become, when they
grow up hearing the stereotypical racist or misogynist remarks of
business leaders and politicians?

Malaysians are very tolerant people but I urge Malaysians to strongly
condemn such remarks rather than tolerate them.

Pakac Luteb

"is this:

http://www.telegeography.com/cu/article.php?article_id=25078

a huge waste of money in view of this:

http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20040122-3323.html

??

doesn't malaysia already have a lot of communications infrastructure
that wimax could be added to, to bring broadband to everywhere?

if not, why not just a few fibre cables and microwave links, feeding
data to wimax? bringing fibre directly to the user would be much more
costly."

Voters, dare to ask DAP this

Courtesy of Hartal MSM

It was reported today that the MCMC fined TV3 RM50,000 for the station’s Hari Raya ad.

PAS protest #1

When the controversy first surfaced, Harakah Daily reported that PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi on Sept 5 had urged TV3 to scrap the ad.

Nasrudin complained that the ad was “a mockery to Islam and gives the impression of polytheism especially to the young viewers”. By the PAS Youth chief’s reckoning, the objectionable ‘polytheism’ was because the ad “combined elements of Christmas, as well as Hinduism and Buddhism”.

Cannot mix, yah… (non-Muslims, remember this warning)

PAS protest #2

On Oct 11, the New York Times reported the same PAS Youth chief Nasrudin as demanding the cancellation of a concert by the gay pop-rock star Adam Lambert. NYT describes PAS as “a fundamentalist Muslim party”.

This is the party that DAP is sleeping with, yah.

PAS protest #3

Today, Harakah reported that PAS Youth will stage a demo tomorrow after Friday prayers to protest Rosmah Mansor’s support for a fashion show that featured ‘tak tutup aurat’ (sleeveless) apparel and Arabic script in the dress design.

Yup, the same guy, Nasrudin the PAS Youth chief, has accused Rosmah of “insulting Islam” and demanded a public apology from her.

DAP has been hand-in-glove with PAS in this pushing of the Islamization agenda.

PAS is saying this cannot, that cannot, this is unIslamic, that is unIslamic. PAS the moral police is objecting to just about as many things as Perkasa is making many police reports.

Strange bedfellows

As PAS’s companion in bed, DAP must be supporting all this ‘cannot’ business, yar. After all, DAP desperately wants the Malay votes. Or at least, we’ve not heard DAP raising any objection, or calling for neutral ground.

Why can’t PAS people just stay at home if they don’t like but must instead prevent others from watching concerts (or celebrating Valentine’s Day) and depriving Malaysians of choice? Will they soon tell us we can all only watch nasyid performances?

Is DAP’s Malaysian First a ‘social contract’ that will follow PAS’s tune? So that in the future Malaysian First world, also this-cannot, that-cannot, semua tak boleh, yar.

If so, DAP should be upfront with the electorate NOW and let them know what they’re gonna be in for under the Pakatan pact!!

We did it OUR way

Democracy is government based on faith, not religious faith but faith that
ordinary citizens, when well-educated and free to choose, will choose
their leaders wisely, being persuaded by logical argument rather than
swayed by emotional rhetoric.

In a democracy everyone, male, female, rich, poor, are equal before
the law. They are free to express their opinions and criticise their
leaders.

It's impossible for any government to satisfy everyone all the time,
thus in a democracy there is lots of disagreement and discussion that
may be misinterpreted as chaos by people who do not understand the
central premise of democracy; faith in the people to make wise choices
of leadership.

People in democracies, because of their freedoms, are able to freely
collaborate, brainstorm and crowdsource to solve problems.

People in a democracy can sack a dysfucnctional government and replace it.

Dictatorships lack the advantages of many minds, millions of minds,
working together to solve problems.

Dictatorships lack flexibility to respond to changes in economies and societies.

Look at how during the past 20 years various countries have prospered
following the collapse of the USSR.

Look at the track records of dictatorships compared to democracies.
You will find democracies are not perfect but they are much better
than dictatorships.

Dictatorship's main focus is to perpetuate themselves, not ensure
national prosperity.

I have faith that Malaysians will choose wisely when choosing leaders
and a system of government.
The future and fate of everyone in Malaysia, including that of my
children, depends on the choices made by my fellow Malaysians.

Together we can achieve much more than any one of us alone.

Of that I am certain.

You're TAGGED!

By Pakac Luteb

I'm writing this in response to the bullet (actually a cartridge) in
the post received by Tony
Pua.

This is an update to my earlier writing on this type of incident, that
earlier writing is below
in quotation marks.

I'm not writing on the merits of the excellent idea of Tony Pua, they
are obvious.

I'm writing on something that might not be widely known outside the
law enforcement community.

For a long time, law enforcement faced a difficult obstacle in cases
where explosives had been used. Obviously, a lot of the evidence had
been destroyed.

Then some genius whose name and company are not relevant to this
letter had a great idea.

They devised "taggants" for explosives. The taggants are microscopic
coloured bits of plastic that can survive an explosion. Taggants can
be added to C4, Semtex, high-velocity smokeless gunpowder, etc.

Taggants can reveal manufacturer, lot number, batch number and thus be
used to suggest a suspect.

Another way of tracing explosives is by their chemical
characteristics, such as isotope content.

Do people lick envelopes and postage stamps anymore? If they do, they
are sending the recipient of the letter a nice big fat sample of DNA.

So, ladies and gentlemen, if you get a bullet in the post, keep quiet,
the culprit may think it's

lost in the post and obligingly send you another. Then send for
testing, one at a time.

If you still keep quiet, what's the culprit gonna do? Send by courier?
Nah, there's a "paper

trail". Send by hand? CCTV will record the delivery.

I hope you read my earlier writing, below.

Pakac Luteb

The below is old, really old, but i think it's not yet basi:

"i refer to the recent news that the Honourable Karpal Singh received a
threatening letter and bullets in the post.

if I were Karpal, here's what i'd do:

the sender would not know i'd received the letter, if i kept quiet
about the matter. if i said nothing about it, the sender may assume
the letter became lost in the post.

thus i'd keep quiet about the matter, until i had:

examine the letter and envelope for DNA.

examine the letter and envelope for fingerprints.

examine the bullets for fingerprints.

kindly refer:
http://www.technologyreview.com/communications/21331/page1/
and also see
http://hsdailywire.com/single.php?id=6723

determine the type (jacketed/unjacketed, hollow point, etc.), calibre
and manufacturer of the bullets, who such bullets were sold to and
what type of gun they are used in.

see who owns/uses such type of gun.

try to determine where and when the letter was posted.

try to match the handwriting to any known person.

only then would i make a police report.

if i had identified the sender of the letter, i could go after them.
the hunter becomes the hunted. the sender would be very surprised to
find me at their door!

in the case of Altantuya, perhaps the above technique of finding
fingerprints on metal objects, such as bullets and guns, could be
employed to find who fired the shots that killed her.

it might also be used on any other bullets found in the jungle
clearing, as other humans remains was found there.

shooting someone can be a messy business. certainly a car is not the
preferred venue, as the dripped and spattered blood has to be cleaned
up, because it's incriminating evidence.

the jungle clearing is a more likely venue for killing."

Mahathir Says Dictatorship Is Better Than Democracy?!!!

By Pakac Luteb

Today Dr. M was praising dictatorships, saying they can sometimes be
good, see China's achievements as an example.

China has been a HUGE violator of human rights, slave labour,
detention without trial, arresting people for their religious beliefs,
summary executions, terrible environmental pollution, terribly poor
safety record in industry.

China's economic growth has come at a huge price, but Dr. M
conveniently ignores that, he is still so iMMoral after all these
years, believing in the case of China that "the end justifies the
means".

Dr. M, you are growing older without growing wiser.

Your recent comments about China show that you are incorrigible and
recalcitrant.

Your "style", if I may call it that, is to appear innocent while
mucking things up.

Malaysians are no longer fooled by you, if you think they are you are
only fooling yourself and proving yourself to be an even bigger fool.

Your only friends now are the likes of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.

It's a real shame, you have a genius intellect but you use your brain
to satisfy your rapacious lust for power, money and dominance instead
of making society better.

You are decades beyond your "Guna Sebelum" date, you have become so
"basi" everything you touch stinks!

Leave Malaysia alone, frankly you would make many Malaysians very
happy if you have a massive MI in your sleep and don''t wake up.

Goodnight and good riddance, Dr. M!

Demand-side Organomics

By Pakac Luteb

In The Star, the Health Minister describes the shortage of donor
organs for ill people on waiting lists.

He attributes the shortage to people's unwillingness to donate organs.

People may indeed be unwilling to donate their organs but why do so
many people require new organs?

The Health Minister should do some "Demand-side organomics" to reduce
the need for new organs.

Many of the new kidneys may be required due to diabetes.

The Health Minister should act to reduce the sugar intake of
Malaysians and also to educate diabetic Malaysians on proper control
and monitoring of their blood sugar.

Many of the new livers may be required due to reactions to medicines,
some herbal medicines and antibiotics can cause liver damage.

Patients may be poorly informed by clinics regarding medicines they
have been given and suffer liver damage from inadvertent over-dosage
of Paracetamol.

Too few doctors explain to patients about medicines and their side
effects. Too few patients ask questions of doctors regarding their
health and their medicines.

Doctors and patients must act in partnership and there must be
emphasis on maintaining health, not simply going to hospital or clinic
ONLY when become ill.

Medical school's curricula must include the role of the doctor as
educator of patients. Doctors must be trained how to effectively
communicate with patients.

It's a matter of national urgency. Healthcare costs are rising, ill
people are less productive workers, if many people are ill there will
be a big drain on the economy of Malaysia.

Health Minister, Health Ministry, Medical Schools, Doctors, members of
the Public, act NOW to prevent catastrophe!

Thank you.

Commonwealth Games Success - Nothing For S'pore to Gloat About

By Admin

Singapore has nothing to gloat about their s0-called 'success' in the just concluded Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. The bulk of the medals won by Singapore was won by Naturalized Singaporeans i.e. People's Republic of China nationals especially in table tennis which provided the bulk of the medals Singapore won. These so-called 'imported' heroes can't even sing Singapore's National Anthem 'Majulah Singapura' which is in Malay. Malaysia can be proud of the achievements of her sons and daughters in winning a record 12 gold medals with home grown talent to finish ahead of Singapore's 'imported' athletes at seventh place.

The following article from Singapore Dissident Blog speaks about the shameful state of Singaporean sports:

Singapore state controlled newspaper the Straits times online edition of Oct 9, 2010, has the story "Commonwealth Games 2010. Gold for Singapore Paddlers"( for those who are unfamiliar with Singaporean English, also known as Singlish, a silly sounding local patois, Paddlers means Ping Pong players).

The report reads "Singapore's paddlers began their gold rush in emphatic style last night, crushing India 3-0 to claim their third straight woman's title".

But let me tell you, this report is a blatant shameless lie. Actually Singaporean sportswomen never took part at all in this match. It was in fact a match between Peoples Republic of China sportswomen who played this table tennis match against the Indian team and the Chinese side won 3-0.

Confused? Let me explain. The so called "Singapore players" in this match were Feng Tianwei, Wang Yuegu and Li Jiawei. These 3 were all born in the Peoples Republic of China, not Singapore, and were until a few months ago, citizens of the Peoples Republic of China. Until a few months ago, they had nothing to do with Singapore and had never even heard of such a place.

They were all trained in China, a country that produces the world's best table tennis players, trained professionally as is the fashion in China from a tender age, and since their teenage years, had already reached world class standard, just as every other sportsman and woman in their country.

Singapore on the other hand does not have any sportsmen or women of any class, let alone world class.

Singaporeans have never won any medals in any sporting events and even if they ever did, it probably would have been in chess, or some other sport which does not need much physical exertion.

Singaporeans are by and large a weak effete people, lacking spontaneity or creativity, who live in fear under a dictatorship of Lee Kuan Yew. Their entire lives are consumed with how to make a living and keeping clear of the wrath of the Singapore strongman Lee Kuan Yew who can have you arrested anytime he wants, as there is no rule of law.

What the one party state Singapore government under Lee Kuan Yew has done in this case is this. Just a few months ago they went to China and literally "bought" world class Chinese players, that is, by paying each of these 3 women millions of dollars to come to Singapore where they are given instant Singapore citizenship, after which they are sent to the Commonwealth Games in India to compete as "Singapore" sportsmen and women.

The article reports of the Chinese sportswomen (or Singaporean which Singapore wants you to believe) having defeated the Indian player Mouma Das. Mouma Das by the way is truly Indian. India does not engage in the dirty business of "buying" sportsmen or women from China or anywhere else. India has more pride than that.

And the disgrace of the Republic of Singapore in this shameful deceit is even worse because they deliberately get Chinese from China to fool the world, since both Chinese from China or Singapore are both ethnic Chinese and therefore look alike. People are therefore more likely to be fooled into believing the Chinese from China are Singaporean. Imagine the opposite if India had gone to China and similarly "purchased" world class players, no one would believe they were Indian!

Singapore never won any sports medals and never will. Singapore island, a place fast declining in population, in morale, in economy and a growing disgruntled population realizes they have to resort increasingly to deception and lies to keep the country going. Only yesterday, there was another false report claiming they were the 4th richest country in the world, when the truth is, they have a few millionaires and the rest of the country live in poverty or just above it.

There was another report in the same disgraceful paper that the Singapore table tennis team (paddlers in Singlish, a stupid concoction of various local dialects spoken in a sing song effeminate style) beat the English team. Of course they did. The English table tennis team is no match for PRC Chinese team, and we all know that. The so-called Singapore team too were in effect professional Chinese players recently "purchased" from China. The English team on the other hand was truly English, as they too are not in the habit of parading foreign sportsmen and women under British colors. They too like the Indians have more pride than that.

The moral of the story is that even if the Indian team and the English team lost to the "Singapore team" , I mean the Peoples Republic of China team, at least the they had some honor in their defeat. Singapore on the other hand has none; no shame whatsoever.

Only a disgraceful country behaves the way Singapore does. I am not surprised there are no jubilant celebrations on the Singapore streets over these "victories". Singaporeans too known these shameless desperate acts of their 88 year old leader Lee Kuan Yew, who is going to kick the bucket any minute.

And by the way, had not Singapore bought over these Chinese trained Chinese nationals to play for Singapore, they would not otherwise been able to play in the Commonwealth Games at all. Peoples Republic of China is not a Commonwealth country.

And if I would guess the sequel to this disgraceful episode, these Chinese nationals would thank their Singapore patrons very much for the millions of dollars, fling these stupid medals and their Singapore passports in the nearest garbage, and say goodbye to Singapore once and for all, heading back to China with a few millions dollars of Singapore tax payers money in their pockets. All they wanted was the money. They would care two hoots for Lee Kuan Yew or his small little island.

If I recall, that was exactly what another Chinese woman ping pong player did not too long ago.

Say "Tak Nak!" to RELA!

By Pakac Luteb

Today, The Star had news that people who wish to join RELA can now
register online, in only a few minutes.

Wah! RELA so modern one mah! Boleh daftar secara "online"! Cepat dan mudah!

That news is both telling and worrying.

RELA members have "Carte Blanche", they can arrest people, carry and
use firearms, detain and question people and they don't have any
accountability under the law.

It appears the government is trying to rapidly increase the number of
RELA members.

The government could use RELA as thugs who harass, arrest, detain,
question or kill anyone who the government feels is a political
threat.

The government could also use RELA members to commit violence as a
pretext to declare an Emergency or as thugs who disrupt polling places
during elections.

It appears the government is becoming increasingly desperate and
insecure in the face of public revelations about it's lies and other
misdeeds.

In a civil society, in a democracy, NOBODY is above the law.

RELA has NO legitimate reason to exist in Malaysia, if Malaysia is a
democracy founded on the rule of law and respect of human rights.

NO person or organisation, RELA, the Prime Minister, Home Minister,
RPK, Anwar Ibrahim, Pakac Luteb, Lim Kit Siang, etc. should EVER be
above the law in a democracy.

RELA should immediately be disbanded and declared illegal, not
expanded as The Star reported today.

RELA has NO relevance in the Malaysia of today and NO relevance in the
Malaysia of the future.

Say "Tak Nak!" to RELA!

Thank you.

Don't Fall For BN/Umno's 'Good Guy, Bad Guy' Routine!

By Admin

Recently we have been seeing what appears to be 'healthy democracy' being practiced by BN leaders and pro-BN Blogs. Some of us have been taken in by this deception by the BN/Umno Regime to hoodwink us into believing that BN/Umno has changed and reformed itself.

We hear of BN Minsters like Nazri Aziz breaking ranks to criticize the Government and fellow Ministers. We are now hearing that Minister Rais Yatim lodging police reports against pro-BN Bloggers like Rocky Bru and BigDogCom.

The BN controlled MSM has lost it's grip on the minds of the People. People don't believe the MSM anymore. The BN Regime is fighting a losing battle against the New Media. The BN Regime is now 'spring cleaning' the BN Spin Doctors such as Rocky Bru and BigDotCom to make them look credible in the eyes of the People. This whole episode about the Utusan Malaysia - Nazri Aziz war of attrition and the Rais Yatim - Pro Umno Bloggers episode is nothing but a 'Sandiwara' by the regime to shore us support for BN/ Umno. We must not fall for BN/Umno's deception. Already, Utusan Malaysia's circulation has dropped drastically. The only way the BN/Umno Regime can deceive the People to buy their lies is to make their Bloggers look credible and balanced so that the People will believe what they are spinning.

What alternatives are there?

By Pakac Luteb

When I wrote "Our future depends on our choice NOW" I expected some
readers would object to my proposal of allowing the evildoers to get
away with their squandered millions and billions.

Some readers have raised such objection and this letter is to inform
them and everyone else what I was thinking when I made what might
appear prima facie to be an outrageous proposal.

What alternatives are there to my proposal?

The method of China, which is a bullet in the head, would make UMNO BN
even more fearful of ceding power to the opposition. UMNO BN would
certainly fight back and Malaysia would be devastated by what is
oxymoronically termed "civil war". War is never civil.

Hire accountants to chase after the money? The tangled money trail
would take years to trace and go through the courts and would cost a
lot. Who would pay the accountants and lawyers? Malaysia might become
bankrupted.

Better to spend the time and money on developing a better Malaysia,
everyone agreeing to move forward to a better future, through
forgiveness, reconciliation, cooperation and determination.

We are at a major simpang, let's take the road to our success as a
peaceful prosperous nation.

ALL of us will benefit, you, myself, your children, my children.

The evildoers will also benefit, hopefully they will have some pangs
of guilt and give back some of the money they stole.

Even if they never give back any of the money Malaysia must still move
forward socially, economically and politically.

Please join me on the road to national success.

Our future depends on our choice NOW

By Pakac Luteb

More than 2 years ago I wrote a letter titled "The Way Forward?". My
earlier letter on the topic appears below, in quote marks.

It is now a good time to remind of that letter, for the government's
Sodomy 2 case against Anwar Ibrahim is falling apart.

Malaysia has to move quickly forward and overcome it's past or it will
sink much lower than it already has sunk.

Race relations have declined, the economy has declined, crime has
increased, the justice system has become a tool for oppression, the
country is fast achieving pariah status amongst nations.

UMNO and the BN must cede power to the opposition.

What comes next?

Malaysia can take a lesson from what Nelson Mandela did with South Africa.

In South Africa, many were fearful that there would be blood shed in
retribution against the years of oppression of the blacks by the
whites.

Mandela wanted to avoid that, he wanted South Africa to quickly move forward.

He decided that there had to be peace in South Africa, there must be
equality of all races and there must be forgiveness of the past.

South Africans remember apartheid, but have decided to not fight over
it or dwell over it, just work together for the good of the nation,
the blacks working together with the whites who had oppressed them.

I suggest that as a model for Malaysia, I suggest forgiveness and
reconciliation in Malaysia as Mandela accomplished in South Africa.

What I suggest is that people put aside their instinct for revenge and
instead channel their energies towards building a strong, modern,
energetic Malaysia that is prosperous, fair and just in how it treats
everyone, citizens and foreigners alike.

I ask Malaysians what Mandela asked of South Africans, move forward,
don't look back.

Malaysia has vast resources, especially it's people.

I appeal for ALL Malaysians, the Datuks, Tan Sri's, Tuns, towkay,
kerani, etc., ALL Malaysians, rich, poor, middle class, educated or
illiterate, to decide that moving forward REQUIRES forgiveness and
reconciliation regarding past misdeeds of repression, squandering,
etc.

It is a BIG request I ask of Malaysians, many of whom have personally
felt the oppression by the UMNO BN government, but it is a request I
must make, because Malaysia is at a simpang in it's history.

There are now 2 choices, EVERYONE, whether they support the opposition
or BN UMNO can work together to make Malaysia truly great, or they can
all continue fighting.

If they choose to fight it will be a disaster and lead to ruin, if
they work together Malaysia has a good chance of being well on the way
to being a prosperous and developed nation by 2020. Malaysia would
also achieve kudos from the world as South Africa has.

I want to work for a better Malaysia, hand in hand with everyone else,
whether they are UMNO, BN, PKR or otherwise, whether they are having
the title of Tun, Agong, etc. or if they have no title, perhaps they
just clean toilets.

I have a dream, that Malaysia will become a nation that the world
takes note of, for all the right reasons.

Please join me in making that dream become reality for ALL, those
alive now and for future generations.

Thank you.

Pakac Luteb

"The way forward in Malaysia?:

Malaysia may take a lesson from South Africa. South Sfrica peacefully
transformed itself from a repressive society into a democracy.

http://news-info.wustl.edu/tips/page/normal/824.html

http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0107983.html

If malaysia does what south africa did, there is chance for peaceful
transition of government and transformation of society.

Following the south african model would mean giving up the ability to
punish/exact retribution/revenge against those state officials who
oppressed society.

Not following the south african model could plunge malaysia into an
era of conflict and perhaps bloodshed, as the government, fearing
retribution, tries to hang onto power by any means it can.

If the south african model can be implemented in malaysia, anwar may
become known as the "mandela of malaysia", leading malaysia to peace,
prosperity, equality and justice for all malaysians.

It is something to consider, what future do we want for our beloved
country and how do we ensure achieving that future?"

SODOMY II: Any Doubt NOW?

By Pakac Luteb

A few days ago I wrote a letter titled "A Closer Look". Read here
http://margeemar.blogspot.com/2010/10/sodomy-ii-closer-look.html#links

In that letter, I described how antibody testing of Saiful's blood
could clearly show if Saiful was speaking truthfully or lying when
when he testified that Anwar Ibrahim had sodomised him multiple times
over a period of months, without a condom.

It seems many of you had doubts about what I wrote in "A Closer Look",
many of you thought it was some crazy idea of mine.

All you sceptics, have a read of this:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1194431/pdf/genitmed00043-0011.pdf

It's a study by the National Institutes of Health in the USA.

The study describes what i said about antibodies being produced when
semen and sperm are deposited in the rectum.

Do you have any doubt NOW?

Just a few words

By Pakac Luteb

They are just a few words

"they agreed to drop their case in return for a commitment that there
would be no further incidents of intimidation"

Those words may be found here:

http://hornbillunleashed.wordpress.com/2010/10/14/10633/

They are VERY revealing words.

ONLY the party responsible for the intimidation could give such a commitment.

Furthermore, ONLY the responsible party would give such a commitment,
for it amounts to tacit admission of responsibility for the
intimidation.

I think you, dear reader, after perusal of:

http://hornbillunleashed.wordpress.com/2010/10/14/10633/

will have some hunch regarding who the responsible party might be.

Sodomy II: "A Closer Look"

A Closer Look - "Saiful Bukhari being examined"

By Pakac Luteb

Recently Saiful testified he was repeatedly sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim
without a condom, multiple times and over a period of months.

That is good news for Anwar Ibrahim.

Yes, you read correctly!

I did intend to say it is good news.

It is such good news i rushed out of my office and am now in Starbucks
writing this letter and sipping my latte.

How can such a thing possibly be good news for Anwar Ibrahim?

Let's take a closer look, a VERY close look.

If what Saiful testified is true, Anwar's semen and sperm would have
been released inside Saiful's anus and rectum multiple times over a
period of months.

The rectum is lined with thin tissue referred to as "mucous membrane".

Micro-organisms can readily interact with the immune system at that thin tissue.

For example, that's what makes anal sex a particularly efficient way
of transmitting HIV.

With regards to semen and sperm in the rectum, what happens?

The immune system of the owner of that rectum detects the proteins of
the semen and sperm as "foreign", meaning not from the rectum's owner.

The immune system regards the "foreign" proteins as invaders that must
be destroyed.

To attack and destroy the proteins ["antigens"] the immune system
produces antibodies.

That antibody production takes time.

Multiple doses of antigen also helps trigger antibody production.

Those facts are why some vaccines are given in a number of doses over
a period of time.

Multiple instances over a period of months of Anwar's semen and sperm
entering Saiful's anus and rectum is perfect for provoking Saiful's
immune system to produce antibodies against Anwar's semen and sperm.

Saiful's blood could be tested for such antibodies.

However Saiful's blood needs to be tested NOW, not later!

That is to avoid giving time for Saiful to be inoculated with Anwar's
semen and sperm to provoke antibody production to match Saiful's
testimony.

Proteins and antibodies to them are specific, they fit each other like
a key fits a lock.

If Saiful has antibodies to Anwar's semen and sperm there will be no
mistaking it.

Conversely, if there are no such antibodies in Saiful NOW, it
unmistakably means Anwar's semen and sperm was NOT in Saiful's anus
and rectum on multiple occasions over a period of time.

Another aspect of anal sex without condom is that bacteria from the
anus and rectum can enter the urethra of the insertive partner.

The bacteria can travel to the prostate gland of the insertive partner.

The prostate gland unfortunately is something of a safe haven for
bacteria, the immune system and antibiotics have a difficult time
reaching bacteria inside the prostate gland.

One effect on the prostate gland is it swells. That swelling tends to
restrict the urethra and neck of the bladder and make urination
difficult, especially it's difficult to begin urination or technically
micturition.

Guys, now when the guy at the urinal next to you struggles to start
his stream of urine flowing you can guess what he has been doing ;-).

Now what REALLY bugs SOME men with that condition is that maybe 10
minutes after they finally manage to urinate they feel urgency to
urinate again...

Guys, if you're going to bonk anally please use condom with lots of
lube, it will save you lots of grief.

Because those bacteria can remain in the prostate gland of the
insertive partner they might be detectable.

That's another aspect that could be looked into, although possibly a
match of bacteria may have less certainty, meaning be less specific,
than an antigen to antibody match.

Well, now it's time for me to pack up and leave Starbucks.

Well, not quite yet, i have to go urinate, because of the caffeine,
not because of how i bonk.

Seriously.

Goodnight,

Justice Assassinated

By Pakac Luteb

The former CID director Mat Zain Ismail is correct that Gani Patail
and Musa Hassan (pic above) perverted justice in Malaysia. Mat Zain Ismail however missed mentioning a crucial fact.

The perversion of justice in Malaysia began in earnest under the rule
of Mahathir.

Mahathir sacked good honest judges.

Mahathir also eliminated trial by jury.

It was the elimination of trial by jury that made possible Sodomy 1
and the conviction of Anwar Ibrahim.

It is the present lack of trial by jury that looms over Sodomy 2,
another fabricated case which now threatens to return Anwar Ibrahim
to prison.

The perversion of justice in Malaysia has turned that nation into a
police state rife with corruption and crippled Malaysia's development
in all areas, social, economic and political.

The police no longer play their proper role in society, instead they
are thugs who maintain the status quo of exploitation of Malaysia by a
corrupt government.

The existence and operation of police assassination squads is example
of both how low justice in Malaysia has sunken and how the police in
Malaysia wield power far beyond police in any civilised state.

ASP Suresh boasts about having assassinated people as a member of an
assassination squad.

Assassinating people may be a boost to the ego of ASP Suresh but how
does it affect society?

The victim suffers, possibly pain and emotional anguish.

The family, friends, relatives and colleagues of the victim suffer
emotional anguish.

The family of the victim suffers loss of income.

Society suffers the loss of someone who contributes in many ways,
through work, buying a car, buying a house, buying food, clothing,
newspapers...

The government suffers loss of a taxpayer and voter.

What emotionally enables someone to assassinate another human being?

It is lack of empathy.

Empathy is the ability to understand and appreciate the feelings of others.

Without empathy, people view others as mere objects, not human beings.

Not acknowledging others as human beings with feelings enables people
to treat others with cruelty, ragging in schools, cheating people,
lying to them, beating them or as in the case of ASP Suresh
assassinating them.

Malaysians need to develop empathy at all levels of society, including
the police.

How can that be done?

Some people have ideas about how to teach empathy, Malaysians should
take serious consideration of those ideas.

An example of teaching empathy is:

http://edition.cnn.com/2010/OPINION/10/08/pearlman.empathy.bullying/index.html

It could be a step forward for Malaysia, a nation that badly needs
steps forward.

50 years of Malaysian Islamization

From Malaysian Indians Today

Compiled by Aneel David Kannabhiran

1957: The Reid Commission drafted the Federal Constitution, and at the behest of one of the Commission members, Mr. Justice Abdul Hamid of West Pakistan High Court, Article 3 (1) was formulated as such: “Islam is the religion of the Federation …”

1966: Restrictions were placed on the employment, entry and residence of priests and religious personnel. This led to the reduction of religious personnel in mission schools.

1974: The Red Cross Society was re-named Red Crescent Society.

1974 to present: The airing of Islamic television and radio programmes began increasing. From 1974 onwards, prime time television programmes were paused to air the Azans [Muslim prayer]. In 1982 Islamic content on TV stood at 10 per cent; in 1988 it rose to 17.5 per cent.

In 2007, new station TV9 was launched, which features mainly Islamic programming. There is no coverage of non-Muslim religious programs, save for during the respective festivals.Songs that contain the word ‘Jesus’ have been banned [eg: “Jesus to a Child” by George Michael], as well as movies depicting prophets [eg: “Prince of Egypt”, a film about the life of Moses].

1979: The Islamic Revolution and revivalism in Iran had a direct effect on Muslims here. Muslim clerics began exhorting their faithful to return to the fundamentals of the faith. The Angkatan Budaya Islam Malaysia [Malaysian Islamic Cultural Force] (ABIM) led by Anwar Ibrahim started the dakwah [the call] movement mainly among government college and university students.Muslim women, for the first time, were seen donning the tudung [head covering]. Over the years, wearing of the tudung has become the norm amongst Muslim women.

1981: The Indonesian translation of the Bible – “Alkitab” was banned under the Internal Security Act. The ban was later lifted on condition the books were restricted to Christian use.

In 2000, the Bahasa Malaysia translation of “Alkitab” was confiscated by the Special Branch from the Daughters of St. Paul bookstore in Petaling Jaya. The then Deputy PM Abdullah Badawi later released the books on condition that the words “for Christians only” were printed on the cover.

1984: It became illegal for non-Muslims to use 49 ‘Islamic’ words including Allah [God], Alhamdulilah [Praise be to God] and Insya Allah [God willing].

1985: The then Deputy Prime Minister [PM] Datuk Musa Hitam said, “The government has set up a committee to co-ordinate the various aspects of Islamic Syariah and civil laws in line with efforts to infuse Islamic values into the Administration.” [New Straits Times (NST) 9 March ‘85]

Aug 1986: ABIM proposes to government that, “Islamic laws be the basis of legislation in Malaysia.” [NST 25 Aug ‘86]

Sep 1986: The Federal and State governments agreed to the integration of Syariah and Civil Courts. The then Lord President Tun Salleh Abas said this integration was a first step toward the Islamisation of laws in the country. He also said that changes should not be made drastically … the best changes are those which are imperceptible. [The Star 25 Sep ‘86].

The above situation led to a written protest by the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism [MCCBCHS], and a nationwide church and temple signature campaign denouncing the plans.

1988: The then Minister of Education Anwar Ibrahim, directed all Principals, aged fifty-five and above who were religious, to stop service with immediate effect. The Principals who took over were mostly Muslim.

Subsequently,

Moral Education replaced Christian religious education in these schools. The majority of Moral Education teachers were Muslim.
Crucifixes in mission schools were removed.
School history textbooks glorified Islam and Islamic civilisation over other religions.
“Islamic Civilisation” was introduced as a compulsory subject for all university students.

1988: Article 121 of the Federal Constitution was amended by Art. 121 (1A), to state that, the Civil Courts “shall have no jurisdiction in respect of any matter within the jurisdiction of the Syariah Courts.”

The result of this amendment led to the Civil Courts being unable to adjudicate in cases where the Islamic ingredient is present notwithstanding the fact the person seeking judicial relief or remedy is a non-Muslim, especially in matters related to conversion, matrimony, children’s custody and burial.

Over the years, case law has shown:

a person who converts to Islam can get his/her civil marriage dissolved by the Syariah court, automatically gains custody of children and is allowed to convert them without the non-Muslim parent’s consent [Subashini v Saravanan].
a person who converts out of Islam cannot change religious status on his/her Identity Card without permission from the Syariah Court [Lina Joy case].
a person who applies to the Syariah Court to convert away from Islam is forced into rehabilitative detention [Revathi Masoosai case ].
State Islamic authorities are given power by the Syariah Courts to claim, exhume and bury deceased persons who they deem as Muslims, regardless of the insistence of family members to the contrary [Moorthy Marian and Rayappan Anthony cases].

1980s: In line with Article 11 (4) of the Federal Constitution: “State and federal law may restrict the propagation of any other religious doctrine among Muslims”, the Control and Restriction of the Propagation of Non-Islamic Religions Enactment was passed in six states. The penalties for such violations are a maximum RM10,000 fine or one year’s jail, or both.

Five persons including a former Muslim were detained without trial under the ISA for allegedly performing missionary work amongst Muslims.

During the 80s the print media attempted to portray that Christian evangelism was a threat to the Muslim faith. As an example, on 9 Oct ’87, the NST reported that, “Christians attempted to convert Muslims with bribe money”. On 5 Oct ’87 Mingguan Islam alleged that US$100bil was provided by the “World Federation of Churches” for the Christianisation of Muslims. The Malaysian Consultative Council on Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism [MCCBCHS] asserted that both these stories were false. Furthermore, there is no such body as the “World Federation of Churches”.

1980s to present: Approvals for building of non-Muslim places of worship became increasingly difficult. Unusual conditions were imposed – height restrictions on steeples, design restrictions temple domes – Sikh gurdwaras are barred from building their traditional domes for fear that it may cause confusion for looking too mosque-like.

The Church of the Divine Mercy in Shah Alam took no less than 28 years to be approved and built due to vexatious bureaucratic delays and protests from residents.
To date, over 10 Hindu temples have been demolished by local councils on grounds that the structures were illegal.
1980s to present: Muslims by virtue of paying their tithes [zakat] are allowed a tax rebate of the amount tithed. This has resulted in Muslims having a lower effective tax rate, while non-Muslims with the same level of income are taxed a higher percentage.

1993: Banks and finance companies were allowed to offer Islamic banking services.

1993: Kelantan State Legislative Assembly, which is under the control of opposition Parti Islam SeMalaysia [PAS], passed the Syariah Criminal Code [II] Bill, which included Hudud laws that call for stoning to death and chopping of limbs – these laws could be applied to those from any religion. [As the Federal Government does not recognise these laws, to date, they have not yet been enforced.]

1999: The ruling Barisan Nasional [BN] party suffered its biggest setback in its history when apart from Kelantan, also lost the state of Terengganu to PAS in the General Elections.

PAS, with its vision of setting up a Syariah-based Islamic State, replaced the Democratic Action Party [DAP] as the main opposition party in Parliament.

This led to a race between the BN and PAS to try and ‘out-Islamise’ each other by posturing themselves to appear more ‘Islamic’.

2001: In an apparent attempt to thwart support for PAS’ plans of an Islamic State should it come into power, the then PM Mahathir Mohamed declared that Malaysia was already a “model Islamic Country”. Despite public outcry from the non-Muslim population, the non-Malay component parties within the ruling coalition were either compliant or silent on the issue.

2002: The policy “Absorption of Islamic Values” into government administration was launched. According to the booklet, “Malaysia is an Islamic Country”, the “policy will be implemented on a continuous basis until the goal of entrenching Islam into the nation’s system is fully achieved.” The booklet was later withdrawn but the policy is arguably still in force.

2004: PAS was ousted by the DAP as main opposition party in Parliament when it lost Terengganu to the BN and retained Kelantan by the narrowest of margins in the General Election. The BN, helmed by new PM Abdullah Badawi, experienced its biggest victory to date winning nine tenths of the contested Parliamentary seats.

Badawi then introduced the new concept of Islam Hadhari [Civilisational Islam].

2005: Plans to set up an Interfaith Commission, a statutory non-adjudicative body to assist the government in shaping coherent policy pertaining to religious harmony, were scuttled by widespread protests from Muslim activists who alleged the Commission would “interfere with the holiness of Islam”.

2005: City Hall enforcement officers arrested a non-Muslim couple for hugging and kissing in a public park. The couple appealed to the Federal Court, which ruled that City Hall was correct. The decision has now empowered local council authorities to act as morality police.

2006: An elderly American couple on holiday in Langkawi were harassed and humiliated by State religious enforcement officers who raided their apartment on suspicion they were Muslims committing khalwat [close proximity] – an offence under Syariah law.

2006: A coalition of non-governmental organisations [NGOs] formed “Article 11” [named after the constitutional provision which enshrines freedom of religion], with the intention of reminding the government to defend the Federal Constitution and reaffirm the country’s secular nature. Their nationwide fora were repeatedly disrupted by Islamist activists. The PM stepped in and assuaged the protestors by putting a halt “Article 11’s” activities.

2006: The Attorney General’s Chambers now has a Syariah unit whose functions, inter alia, are to “take steps toward the realisation of a set of laws and specific body that will be responsible for the harmonisation of civil law and syarak [laws of Islam]”.

This could be seen as a resumption of the 1985-1988 initiative towards the integration of Syariah and Civil Courts.

2007: Islamic authorities have been observed to have grown more tyrannical in their enforcement, as evidenced by the recent Revathi Masoosai case where they forcibly took away her child on the grounds that she was a Muslim who illegally practised Hinduism, despite her claim that she had been a practising Hindu since childhood.

A “Building Bridges” seminar of prominent Muslim and Christian scholars under the auspice of the Archbishop of Canterbury scheduled for 7-11 May 2007 was abruptly postponed by officials of the Prime Minister’s Department. No new date has been yet fixed.

July 17 2007: Deputy PM Najib Abdul Razak said Malaysia has never been a secular state as the government has always been driven by the fundamentals of Islam, according to state Bernama news agency.

Here’s a cangkul, MCA

Courtesy of Hartal MSM

The Chinese party’s paper Star today carried these reports, ‘MCA Youth: Punish those who make racist remarks’ and ‘Draw clear line on extremism’.

The MCA Youth wing in its resolution passed at the party AGM wants the government to disassociate itself from organisations such as Perkasa.

Yet Youth chief Wee Ka Siong in his speech — according to the press reports — failed to finger who the “extremists” and “extremist organizations” are.

Insider gives a stinging headline — whether intended to be ironic or not — to the story, i.e. ‘Be clear on extremist groups, MCA Youth tells BN‘. In other words, here is Wee saying “be clear” on the escalation of racism on the one hand, while at the same time, he’s too chicken to even name names.

MCA Youth wants “immediate action” taken to punish civil servants who make racist remarks. Let’s wait and see when ‘immediate’ will come, or if it’s to be like the ‘tomorrow that never comes’.

Wee also urged the BN central leadership to punish those who call for the abolishment of vernacular schools. He makes a reference to 1978 when “Sabah MP Mark Koding called for the closure of Chinese primary schools in Parliament. He was found guilty of sedition later”.

He wants “the BN central leadership to punish”? How, when the DPM-cum-Education Minister cannot, it seems, punish two school principals? Wee is asking for the moon.

There was apparently a recent call by the Malays Consultative Council, a group that includes Perkasa, to do away with vernacular schools.

Not too long ago, Wee wanted the Satu Sekolah Untuk Semua movement charged under sedition for the same reason. It didn’t take but a jiffy then for him to chicken out and drop the case like a hot potato.

Now in this MCA annual get-together, singing to the choir, Wee raises the issue again. We (no pun intended) don’t think the MCA drum-beating will go anywhere.

The funny thing, alternatively, does DAP have the courage to defend Chinese schools? It doesn’t seem to be on the DAP radar either. They’re too busy out-Islamizing PAS.

Admin Note:

It also appears to be in the radar of the Umno zealots to Talibanize Christian Mission Schools. The Education Ministry now requires that Schools under the DG53Category must have a DG53 teacher as the Principal. Anyone wanting to be a Principal must be of DG48. The individual then must be prepared to serve as Principal to any school in Malaysia that is under the DG53 Category before he or she can be posted back to his or her former school as a DG53 Principal.

The problem here is premier Christian Mission Schools like St. Xaviers' Institution in Penang is at risk if the current Principal is transferred out to another school. The La Salle Christian Brothers will not be able to find a replacement Principal who is under the DG53 Category. Hence, the Umno controlled Education Ministry will force the La Salle Christian Brothers to accept a Principal appointed by the Education Ministry who would not understand nor appreciate the ethos and culture of the La Salle Mission. St. Xaviers' Institution will probably be Talibanized with a Muslim zealot as Principal as would go on to Remove all Christian symbols from the school and would also shut down the Chapel and also change the School Song as well. This has happened to Convent Pulau Tikus in Penang. Penang Free School is another example of Talibanization. Xavierians need to do something as the La Salle Brothers are at sea over this.
