Let us make a simple calculation, Minimum yield is 8.01 tonnes/hectare and maximum incentive is for >17 tonnes/hectare.The country average yield for oil palm is 19 tonnes/hectare while good estates have an average yield exceeding 26 tonnes/hectare.

Something is terribly wrong with the management of the oil palm estates in Felda.

With the high prices of palm oil now, these settlers should be laughing all the way to the bank, unless yields are pathetically low!

RM100 million in productivity bonus to Felda settlers. What a petty sum. RM500 million or more should be the real figure if corruption is not involve .The Felda settlers need to be made know that this money was never Najib's or the BN's it was theirs the whole time and was being held back from them. Imagine the interest alone that the government would have been making off that amount of money!

For every RM100 million at least 50% or more goes to the corrupted and cronies pockets. Can't be, are you joking. Someone out there must be asking. Corruption comes in many ways. Business transaction take the largest amount of money. Land transactions, infrastructure, purchase of equipments and many others.

As a matter of fact, BN rotted to its core. Even the best medicine cannot cure its illness (Corruption, abuse of power). The only way is to show them they are history comes 13GE. Can't blame our neighbour country commented on our country system. I am proud to be a Malaysian but somehow sad to have such a lousy present government.

JEWISH LINK TO MALAYSIAN EDUCATION

The first and founding vice-chancellor of University of Malaya was the world-famous British-Jewish mathematician Datuk Alexander Oppenheim (pic above). He came from a Jewish family, Yiddish-speaking, born in Salford outside Manchester in 1903. Oppenheim’s most famous contribution to number theory is the "Oppenheim conjecture". He became vice-chancellor of the University of Malaya in Singapore in 1957, and of UM in Kuala Lumpur in 1962, and served in that capacity until 1965. As VC of both universities, Oppenheim worked closely with Tunku Abdul Rahman in organisational questions, private fund raising and the like. Yet Oppenheim’s memory at UM is barely recorded, even though he is the most famous mathematician ever to have been connected with the university.

Santa Claus ala Islam

(Berita Harian) - Mufti Johor, Datuk Tahrir Shamsuddin menasihatkan umat Islam supaya tidak memakai pakaian atau perhiasan yang menyamai 'Santa Claus' kerana ia bercanggah dengan seruan Nabi Muhammad.

Katanya, kebanyakan umat Islam di negara ini tidak sedar dan kurang pengetahuan mengenai ilmu agama hingga menyebabkan mereka turut serta meraikan perayaan Krismas yang disambut penganut Kristian.

Setiap kali menjelang 25 Disember, ada antara orang Islam memakai pakaian itu. Bagi saya, hukumnya haram kerana ia boleh mempengaruhi dan memesongkan akidah seseorang Islam itu.

"Baru-baru ini, saya ada menerima aduan daripada orang ramai yang prihatin mengenai perkara ini malah ada yang meluahkan perasaan sedih kerana ada segelintir masyarakat Islam sanggup berpakaian seperti Santa Claus," katanya kepada Berita Harian di sini, semalam.

Tahrir berkata, ada sesetengah masyarakat Islam yang bekerja di pusat beli - belah terpaksa memakai pakaian atau perhiasan berkenaan atas kehendak tugas.

"Pihak atasan organisasi berkenaan seharusnya sedar dan sedia maklum mengenai sensitiviti masyarakat Islam. Mereka sebenarnya boleh mengarahkan pekerja lain dan sebagai contoh pekerja yang beragama Kristian untuk memakai pakaian terbabit," katanya.

Macam mana rakyat boleh percaya MACC ini boleh betul adil . cekap dan berintergriti ??
Nampaknya kakitangan MACC kaki penumbuk, kaki pemukul dan kaki pendera saja.

Kes Teoh Beng Hock rakyat hilang keyakinan terdahap MACC, tambahan pula pegawai penyiasat muka samseng, adakah mereka ini perlukan otak untuk memikir cara professional untuk menjalankan urusan ?? Muka pukimak macam gangster dari Suratani. Muka macam ini pun layak dapat datuk ? menjawat dalam bahagaian penyiasatan? Selain dari menggunakan kekerasan mendera dan memaksa, mengakui kesalahan. Apa yang lain pegawai pegawai MACC dapat lakukan?

Memang tidak dinafikan pegawai MACC telah menyeksa ramai orang, mendera tapi atas ketakutan si mangsa tidak berani menyuara, tidak berani memberitahu masyarakat bahawa MACC ini kumpulan samseng yang berlesen.

Kalau kita fikir dengan matang, kakitangan MACC adalah kuli rakyat, mereka ambil gaji dari rakyat , kalau lah mereka salah laku, elok lah kita sumbatkan mereka kedalam penjara, atas alasan lawan Taukeh. Rakyat adalah taukeh, bukan lah bangsat yang didera.

Selagi kes Teoh Beng Hock tidak memberikan jawapan, selama itulah MACC dianggap penjenayah di kacamata rakyat.

The Pakatan Rakyat convention in Penang sent an unmistakable and chilling signal to arch rivals - Prime Minister Najib Razak and the Umno-BN coalition. Despite a roller coaster journey since sweeping to power in the 2008 general election, Pakatan has not been diminished by the enmity and malice unleashed by its political opponents, but has been able to mature and grow stronger in the process. Instead, the BN/Umno controlled mainstream media (MSM) with their 'Journalistic Whore's' like Wong Chun Wai, Joceline Tan, Baradan Kuppusamy et al were busy spinning about Pakatan Rakyat's demise.

"You name it, whatever problems, whatever hardship or stone or rock that the Umno-BN could find, they have thrown it at us. But we are committed to an agenda of change and that needs the removal of the current federal government," Opposition Leader and Pakatan de-facto head Anwar Ibrahim told Malaysia Chronicle at the sidelines of the congress.

Indeed, the star-studded conference hall was packed with the likes of PAS president Hadi Awang, Mujahid Yusof Rawa, PKR president Wan Azizah, Selangor Mentri Besar Khalid Ibrahim, DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang and Karpal Singh.

Pakatan delegates and other members of the public who wanted to meet their 'reformasi' heroes were spoiled for choice. DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, who is also Penang Chief Minister, played host to the 2,000-strong crowd at the convention.

Racial policies rejected, preliminary 10-point manifesto unveiled

In a rousing opening address, Guan Eng warned Prime Minister Najib Razak's Umno party not to 'hijack' the federal constitution and misinterpret the controversial Article 153 to divide the ethnic groups in the country.

"Somehow Umno always fails to mention that Article 153 also states that the legitimate interests of other communities must also be protected,” Guan Eng said.

“Umno will always try to play up the relationship between PAS and DAP. They want to politicise this. They will use the 3Rs — Race, religion and ‘Raja’ (the Rulers) to try and drive a wedge between us."

Guan Eng also unveiled a ten-point document to be signed by all the top Pakatan leaders and which is set to become the coalition's preliminary manifesto in the coming general election. The resolutions outline in detail the changes Pakatan will introduce within the first 100 days of its taking over Putrajaya if it wins the next general election expected to be held early next year.

The resolutions are:

1. A restructure of institutions including the Elections Commission (EC), the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Royal Malaysian Police. During a debate on the policy framework, DAP’s Anthony Loke said PR bring the MACC under the purview of Parliament.

2. A repeal of the Internal Security Act (ISA)

3. Instruct Khazanah Berhad, Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and other government bodies to take over highway assets from the concessionaires in order to abolish the toll system.

4. A restructure of the country’s subsidies, to lessen subsidies given to the private sector (such as the RM19 billion in gas subsidies given to independent power producers) and transferring these to subsidies for the man on the street.

5. Acknowledging the role and sacrifices of civil servants by studying the current pay schemes and increasing the incentives for teachers by RM500 a month

6. Transferring private water concessions to the government

7. Offering free wireless Internet access to those in urban and semi-urban areas

8. Cancelling Felda Plantations and opening up its farms to second- and third generation Felda settlers.

9. Increasing oil royalty payments to Sabah, Sarawak, Terengganu and Kelantan to 20 per cent from 5 per cent currently.

10. Formation of a Royal Commission to solve the problem of illegal immigrants and citizenship issues in Sabah and Sarawak.

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Dis — Seorang bekas pengurus kanan Sime Darby Engineering dikenakan tuduhan rasuah melibatkan bayaran RM200,000 di Mahkamah Sesyen di sini hari ini.
Mazhazmi Jamaludin menghadapi tuduhan menerima bayaran itu daripada MLC Shipbuilding Sdn Bhd pada 31 Disember 2008 dengan mendakwa syarikat pembinaan perkapalan itu memperoleh kontrak bernilai AS$134.2 juta (RM421.6 juta) dari Sime Darby.
Mazhazmi dikenakan tuduhan di bawah Seksyen 11(a) Akta Pencegahan Rasuah.Dia minta dibicarakan.

YAN 19 Dis. – Malaysia sentiasa terbuka dalam hubungan diplomatik dan mengiktiraf fahaman syiah yang diamalkan oleh negara-negara Arab seperti Iran, kata Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom.

Bagaimanapun, beliau berkata, kerajaan tetap mengharamkan fahaman syiah diamalkan di negara ini ekoran terdapat beberapa faktor yang boleh mengelirukan orang Islam dan bertentangan dengan fahaman Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah yang diamalkan oleh rakyat Islam di Malaysia.

"Jika ada dua mazhab di negara ini mungkin akan berlaku pertumpahan darah kerana masyarakat Islam berbeza pendapat seperti yang berlaku terhadap masyarakat Islam Pakistan dan Iraq.

"Kita tidak menyekat masyarakat di negara ini mengamalkan amalan Syiah tetapi kerajaan tidak membenarkan penyebaran ajaran Syiah ini dibuat ekoran terdapat beberapa dakyah songsang yang boleh menggugat keharmonian umat Islam di negara ini,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas menyampaikan sumbangan pakaian sekolah di Dewan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Yan di sini hari ini.

Khamis lalu, Jabatan Agama Islam SelangorTanyalah penganut (JAIS) menahan 200 pengikut ajaran syiah dalam serbuan di sebuah rumah kedai di Taman Sri Gombak, Batu Caves apabila dikatakan terpesong dan berbahaya kerana menganggap penganut Islam mazhab lain sebagai kafir dan halal untuk dibunuh. – Bernama

NOT ALL RELIGIONS ARE EQUAL TO ISLAM

Over the last few days, a controversy has been brewing over a statement by the Institute of Islamic Understanding (Ikim) that Islam considers that not all religions are equal, and that the concept of pluralism is antithetical to Islam.

The Umno-owned and controlled Utusan Malaysia daily has gone to town with stories suggesting that religious pluralism is a threat to Islam, and that Pakatan Rakyat supremo and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is pushing for other religions to be put on an equal footing with Islam.

According to the newspaper, those who question the position of Islam and the Malays are practitioners of religious pluralism, in what appears to be a claim that Anwar’s rejection of Umno’s “ketuanan Melayu” concept is unIslamic, or even anti-Islam.

I think we should not just jump at Ikim and unilaterally condemn its view about the exclusivity of Islam without some serious objective evaluation and understanding of the teaching of the religion.

From the strictly theological perspective, Ikim is right. Islam, like Christianity, is certainly an exclusive religious faith, claiming in the Shahada (Declaration of Faith) that “There is no god, but Allah” (La ilah illa Ilah) and Muhammad is Allah’s messenger (Wa Muhammad rasul u’llah). The Ikim position is consistently with the fundamental theology of Islam.

Like Christianity, Islam also claims exclusivity to its beliefs and teachings. A Muslim’s faith is firmly based on the belief that the source of his religion Islam is God and Muhammad is the only and last and final prophet and spokesman for God on the Earth. A true Muslim holds that Islam is not just one of the many religions, but THE religion per se, the only true religion of God, the religion of the created natural order (din-al-fitrah).

The religion is called Islam because Allah had decreed it in the Quran: “Lo the religion with God is Al Islam to His will and guidance” (3:19) and “I have chosen for you as religion Al Islam” (5:3). Islam, an Arab word, means submission, total surrender and obedience, and that is the practical implications for Muslims. There are several greetings based on the word Islam, such as “Peace be upon you” (salamalek) and “Go in peace” (bissalma, masalma). Thus, the teaching of Islam is about a life of faith and peace through submission to the one and only true God Allah. The word “Muslim” means a person who has totally surrendered his whole life to Allah. The Islamic faith is not just purely an organized ritualistic religion, but a complete way of life, covering every area of life and thoughts, including politics.

Hence, the Ikim claim to exclusivity for Islam is not without theological merit.

As a Christian, I can understand the Ikim position, since my faith is also an exclusive one. No Christian will dispute or challenge my contention that Christianity also claims exclusivity to be the only way of salvation for mankind, and that the Lord Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life” and “No one comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus)”. (John 14:6), and that “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

The issue before us, therefore, is not the question of theological belief per se, but how to relate an exclusive faith to other religions in a multi-racial, multi-religious, multi-cultural, and multi-lingual society like Malaysia.

The word “pluralism” has been used unilaterally by almost everyone – religious leaders, politicians, journalists – without fully understanding what the concept actually means and implies.

The Oxford Dictionary defines “pluralism” as “a condition or system in which two or more states, groups, principles, etc co-exist”.

The keyword, I believe, is “co-exist”. The context in which pluralism exists and practiced is the widely diverse and varied range of religious faiths in a given society, such as Malaysia which has Islam as its official religion and other faiths being part of the scenario.

The fundamental issue we face in a plural society like Malaysia is the matter of peaceful and harmonious co-existence among the people of various races and religious beliefs.

Although I believe that Ikim is theologically consistent with the teaching of Islam, its statement that “Islam rejects religious pluralism that claims all religions to be equally good and truthful” is certainly not politically correct in the context of the Malaysian plural society.

I believe Ikim should look at the issue of pluralism from two broad perspectives, before making a sweeping dismissal of pluralism per se.

First, there is the pluralistic perspective that all religions are equal and “all roads lead to God”. Obviously, Islam, and, for that matter Christianity, will never endorse such a view.

Islam and Christianity both teach and propagate that their respective faith is the only true religion, with all other religious systems and faiths being considered “pagan”. Hence, it is simply impossible for a true Muslim or an honest Christian to agree to inter-faith “spiritual activities”. For a Muslim or Christian to participate, for example, in an inter-faith “worship” is to acknowledge that his faith is just one among many others, to place his God on equal standing with the deities of other religious faiths.

This is what justifies the Ikim position in relationship to other faiths. And I will say that the Ikim concern is valid and theologically consistent with the Islamic teaching. As a Christian, I take a similar stand that I cannot participate in an inter-religious worship service or other inter-faith spirituality activities, without dishonouring and betraying my Lord Jesus.

But, there is another perspective of pluralism which does not involve the matter of spiritual compromise, and that is the common universal moral values among all peoples of the world. And it is this common earthly destiny of all peoples that Ikim should consider the vital role of Muslims to help promote peace and harmony among the people, who are the vice-regents of Allah (khalifa Allah) on Earth.

As I said before, as a Christian, I will not participate in an inter-faith worship service which will place my Lord Jesus as being among one of the gods, on equal standing with them. If I do, it will mean I am not consistent with my faith in the Lord Jesus as the only way, the truth, and the life. Such a compromise in matters of spirituality is surely not correct and honest.

My Muslim friends, too, are correct in taking a similar stand, or else their Shahada becomes a vain recitation, rendering their faith to be meaningless. Hence, Ikim is theologically correct in its stand.

However, in the matters of morality, justice, righteousness, equality, freedom, human, civil and constitutional rights, I will endorse and support any inter-faith “dialogue” and joint stand and actions. This is the other perspective of pluralism that I believe Ikim should seriously study and evaluate, before dismissing the whole concept of pluralism per se.

Although the people of Malaysia are adherents of various faiths and religious systems, they are united for the common purpose of nation-building, and are jointly dealing with many fundamental issues relating to their role as citizens. Hence, the need to come together to talk and compromise.

There is an urgent need for inter-faith dialogues on matters such as the freedom to worship, teach and propagate each other’s religion, the matter of land for places of worship and burial, the right to use the national language Bahasa Malaysia without restriction in worship and religious education, the legal disputes over the conversion of individuals, particularly children, and the vital matter of co-existence.

Ikim, and all responsible Muslim leaders should be willing to participate in such inter-faith dialogues as the common-interest issues need not involve doctrinal compromise or theological dispute.

I hope all parties concerned with the dispute over pluralism will understand and accept that the fundamental matter is the peaceful and harmonious co-existence of all persons or all faiths, with each practicing his faith with full sensitivity and due respect to people of other faiths. What we want is not a theological war, but a channel for inter-faith dialogues and a medium for communication on issues of universal common interests.

It will be very difficult to have anykind of interfaith discourse with Muslims if Muslims i.e. BN/Umno type Muslims in Malaysia do not wake up to the fact that Islam is equal to other religions. Please do not keep any pirated or burned CDs, DVDs, or VCDs in your car.

Police and Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs Ministry's enforcement division in Malaysia have started the operation to search and fine anyone who keep pirated disc inside their car especially through road block at all main road and expressways.

If any pirated or burned disc found inside your car will be charged RM400 per disc. Example 30 discs found means the fine will be RM12,000.

This is real. Another friend of mine from Seagate, today during lunch time, 5 CD x RM400 = RM2,000

One of the Plexus colleague brother-in-law caught by Police due to pirated CD in the car on the way to town for lunch with his friend in the afternoon. One CD fined RM400.

Please disseminate this to all your friends who are driving in Malaysia .

Wikileaks mendedahkan Lee Kuan Yew memberikan pandangan nya bahawa , ``Menurut akhbar Australia, The Sun-Herald, kabel tersebut mendedahkan bahawa pegawai perisikan Singapura dan menteri kanan Lee Kuan Yew telah memberitahu pejabat Agensi Perisikan Australia bagi Penilaian Nasional (ONA), bahawa "ketua pembangkang Anwar 'memang melakukan dakwaan perilaku yang sedang dihadapinya'. "''

Persoalannya nya kenapa Lee Kuan Yew memberkan komen ? adakah Lee Kuan Yew menjaga jubur saiful? dimanakah Lee Kuan Yew mendapat informasi ?

Kalian semua mengetahui dalam kaca mata UMNO Lee Kuan Yew adalah penyokong DAP PAP adalah adik beradik DAP. Jadi matlamat ini cuba mengaitkan Lee Kuan Yew dengan PR. sekiranya kalau lah PR mengambil alih Putrajaya, maka pihak kaum Cina akan menghapuskan ketuanan Melayu dn menjalankan prinsip ekonomi selaras dengan singapore .

How do we explain the persistent and blatant injustices that are done in the name of law and order? How do we pretend there are still integrity, justice and fairness in the courts, the AG’s Chambers and the police force?
In order to put the abysmal state of affairs in perspective, LFL has compiled a Top 10 list of Enemies of the Administration of Justice:

1. Hishammuddin Hussein, Home Minister
2. Abdul Gani Patail, Attorney-General
3. Musa Hassan and Ismail Omar, former and current Inspector-General of Police
4. Mohd Bakri Zinin, Federal CID director
5. Yusof Zainal Abiden, Solicitor General II, chief prosecutor in Anwar’s case
6. Zaki bin Azmi, Chief Justice and former UMNO legal adviser
7. Mohd Zabidin Mohd Diah, High Court Judge in Anwar’s case
8. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission
9. Corrupt and unprincipled “doctors” like Siew Sheue Feng and Razali Ibrahim of HKL (Anwar’s case) and Abdul Karim Tajuddin of Serdang Hospital (A.Kugan’s case) who work hand in glove with the AG’s Chambers and the police to manipulate evidence including medical and post-mortem reports.

The Lembaga Penasihat under the PM’s Department that acts as a “special court” for cases under the ISA, Emergency (Public Order and Prevention of Crime) Ordinance and Dangerous Drugs (Special Preventive Measures) Act. The Lembaga Penasihat is therefore responsible for perpetuating the detention without trial of thousands of detainees.

The best explanation that perhaps sums up the continuing perversion of justice is from Franz Kafka:

Dalam Inkues ini telah menimbullkan perbagai persoalan yang tidak dapat jawapan.

Adakah kes ini benar benar dapat keputusan yang memuaskan ? kenapa pula iba tiba saat terakhir in Khir Toyo tba tiba wujud dalam kes rasuah. Apakah pertalian antara Khir Toyo, MACC dan Kes Teoh Beng Hock ??

Walau bagaimanapun siasatan demi siasatan , inkues demi inkues. jawapan belum terbongkar, jawpannya MACC mesti mencari seekor kambing hitam dalam pejabatnya untuk menanggung dosa. Tetapi memandang kes inkues ini ada sangkut dengan politik UMNO di selangor, Si Toyo yang fuyo powernya akan dileraikan secepat mungkn, maka si kambing hitam ini dapat menghukumkan Khir Toyo adalah orang belakang atau perancang dalam kes kematian Teoh 。

Memang dimakllumkan Khir Toyo mempunyai hubungan rapat dengan PKPj 1 Hishamuddin bin Hasim. Jadi tertangkapnya Khir Toyo memudahkan pihak orang atasan UMNO, khasnya Najib mudah menukar strateginya di senarion politik selangor. demi mendapatkan keyakinan slogan 1 Malaysia adalh bersih dan suci.

Tidak lama akan datang kita akan tergempar bahawa pihak polis atau pihak pendakwa raya mempunyai bukti kukuh dan akan Hishamudin Hasim akan dipekenakan reman 2 minggu. ...... cerita suspend akan menghangatkan lagi di Malaysia dan beita ini akan memanaskan dunia.

Marilah kita lihat cara mana pihak MACC dapat mngeluarkan kambing hitam untuk disembilih? calon calon yang di pilih tidak kurang beberapa anggota MACC khasnya Hishamudin Hasim akan di paksa mengakui dirinya membunuh Teoh .

A Time of Change

Hello again,
This is, for me, a time of change. Things are unsettled. I'm trying to find a path that works better for me.
I'm sure that many of you are familiar with times like that.
In a way, I'm going back to what was my way for most of my life - having time to breathe, to think, to spend time with friends. The past decade has been overwhelming - 18-hour days, much of the time. A lot got done. A lot got missed - simple daily pleasures, perhaps most of all. Also, reading.
And now, once again, I'm trying to find my way.
Has this often happened to you? Is this happening now?
"May you live in interesting times." Well, for most of us, these have been and are very interesting times. Not easy, often - but certainly interesting.

At this time in my life, I'm trying to find a true deep home space.

I'm also trying to find an intellectual home space. I've taught for over a quarter of a century. A couple of years ago, it no longer felt right. I knew I had to move on, to a bigger arena. Anyway, those were the words inside me. But how?? There was no clear path I could see, the way that a path is laid out from Grade One to Grade Two, or from dentistry school to being a dentist.

I will be doing an internet launch - Elsa's Secrets, things I see in the world around me that most people don't see. Even things that are so taboo that they haven't made it onto Oprah.

Another question. I wonder: what can it give you, to be along for this ride? Perhaps company on your own journey. Perhaps ideas here and there. I remember words from a movie I loved, Shadow Lands. Someone is asked: why do you read? His answer: I read to know I'm not alone.
What may it give us, to know we're not alone? I know that, as a child, it changed the world enormously, to know other people had dreams like mine. As an adult as well, it makes the world bigger.
A question I can throw out to you: what does it give you, beig pulled into this world, a world a bit different from yours? I'd love to hear from you.

Tanya lah UMNO atau BN apakah sumbangannya terhadap rakyat ??
selain rasuah, songlap merempat hartanah , tipu sini tipu sana , mereka juga mengharapkan kemenangan dalam pilihan raya , pihak cerdikiawan yang bertitle DR juga turut cari makan, bersuara untuk rakyat . kalau tiada peluang maka minta lah Tuan Allah Maha Esa memberikan bencana terhapad pihak pembangkang., dengan harapan ini sahaja,, sekurang kurangnya satu harapan yang di mimpi mimpikan .

Kini ,senario politik Malaysia semakin berunsur keagamaan, UMNO juga ingin kuasa Allah menyebelahinya. dan berikan pandangan bahawa Allah adalah milikan Melayu yang beragama Islam .
Semamangnya menang kalah dalam pilihanraya itu adalah dibawah tangan rakyat , Rakyat adalah tuhan kepada prinsip demokrasi. Rakyat lah menentukan nasib parti pemerintah .

Perut Buncit sudah mari loh !!

Saya juga menyertai protest air di Selangor, dimana dalam kekecohan saya sempat merakaman beberapa gambar yang terpengun otak saya . saya mendapati ramai angota berperut buncit, seolah olah kelihatan serupa wanita yang hamil 6 bulan, Lalu persoalan ini menggangu otak saya . kenapa ramai angota polis malaysia berperut buncit ?

saya mendapati jawapan adalah berikut :

a) Kemungkinan anggota PDRM suka minum kopi , Duit kopi terlalu banyak diterima dari masyarakat.

b) Anggota PDRM juga ramai yang suka makan kuih percuma dari China Doll, Kuih Indon, ...kiuh Siam secara percuma.

c) Anggota PDRM ini segan lakukan senaman, terkecuali senaman diatas katil adakalanya anggota PDRM berperut sederhana itu mungkin rajin lakukan senaman didalam bilik senaman atas katil, gusti bersama wanita. Kah kah kah ....

d) Anggota PDRM yang berbangsa Melayu dan beragama Islam itu biasanya dlarang menyentuh anjing, mungkin juga mereka tidak berjoggng bersama anjing kah kah kah

e) Kemungkinan juga Pihak kerajaan menaikkan harga gula demi menjaga kesihatan anggota polis, disebabakan takut kena penyakit kencing manis. itu lah cara kaedah untuk slimkan anggota PDRM. Kah kah kah

f) Kenapa dalam waktu protes dengan aman ,, tiba tiba pihak Polis memancut air?
jawapanyam terlalu ramai rakyat ditembak mati oleh polis, dengan itu pihak kerajaan menggalakkan pihak PDRM belajar main pistol air. orang cina kata . Pak Chui Cheng .!! kah kah kah

g) Kenapa pula pihak FRU bertopi merah suka melakukan kekerasan keatas protestor? melakukan kezaliman hingga terbatas asal demokrasi yang sebenar?
jawapannya : Sebab waktu muda itu senjata dalam seluar itu berkepala merah, mesti la garang , power benggis, benggong , bahlol . pakai hentam tak kenal lubang. Itu lah sebab FRU pakai topi merah demi menghormati kepala merah waktu muda, mudah naik darah . Kah kah kah .

Akhir sekali kita tanalah PDRM , FRU semua itu dibayar gaji oleh siapa ?
- jawapanya : Cukai Rakyat. Ini bermakna lawan taukeh lah tu.

Kenapa pula menindas rakyat ? lakukan kealiman ?
jawapannya : Polis idak mengaji human right, tak paham apa tu demokrasi

Kenapa pula PDRM dan FRU melakukan kekerasan terhadap protestor?
Jawapannya : sebab mereka takut tak dak peluang pancut , mahu tembak puas hati .

We know how that panned out when adoring wife Wan Azizah told Malaysians that Anwar was “God’s gift” to the country.

At the same time, Anwar told the Chinese electorate that he would appoint Kit Siang as DPM when Pakatan gets to Putrajaya. Anwar revealed his master plan to Sin Chew Daily on Nov 26. It was his interview with the paper in conjunction with PKR’s annual national congress and the Sin Chew headline read, ‘Kit Siang will be deputy if I become PM’ [says Anwar].

Makkal sakthi or what not, Indians will not be fooled

As a Malaysian First Indian Second, I find it very strange that despite the fact that Umno led BN has been giving a raw deal to the Indians and the other non Malays, we still find Indians led by HINDRAF, Human Rights Part (HRP) and Makkal Sakthi Party whacking away at Pakatan Rakyat. What's more distressing is the fact that ethnic Indian lawmakers from Pakatan Rakyat have become targets for these groups and individuals.

Strangely, we don't see or hear neither the MIC nor the other pro BN Indian political parties whacking away at Pakatan Rakyat like these groups are doing. What we are seeing is that for some strange reason Indians every where appear to have a bone to pick with Pakatan Rakyat and their elected Reps. The BN-Umno controlled mainstream media such as TV3, Utusan Malaysia and the Star have picked up on this and are spinning these issues as though Pakatan Rakyat are discriminating against ethnic Indians in Malaysia. Don't you find it strange that representatives from HRP could actually go and hand over their Memo to the PM without any action from the Police?

Now these groups are claiming to be the Third Force. I'm okay with the 'Third Force' but first let's close ranks and get rid of BN-Umno. If Pakatan Rakyat is no better than BN=Umno when they take over Putrajaya, then we can turn to the 'Third Force'. In my opinion a so-called 'Third Force' will only work in BN-Umno's favour. The following letter from chairman of Malaysia Hindu Sangam of Penang sums up very nicely what I'm saying.

It was the 'makkal sakthi' awakening and the civil society's overwhelming contribution that made March 08 a reality for Pakatan. Not denying their efforts but the win was definitely to their disbelief.

The later events of Hindraf's destruction to pieces were sheer disappointment or rather a stab in back for the Indians. Since the Pakatan take over it's been a tussle between the two sides of political arena, in an area of limited Indian issues hence forgetting or simply evading the many issues that Hindraf had once put forward.

British masters used the different peoples of Malaya for different purpose, some collaborated with them to pave their way into the heartland of Malaya, some simply wanted them in for their changing lifestyle; yes, money was the game even then.

However for most Indians it was pure indented labour for the British to reap the benefits of the land, denying the fact that Indians helped create the most important commodity for the future Malaysia's success and survival.

British masters always had someone doing the dirty job for them; as for the Indians they had a small group of Indians to control the bigger. Somehow the Indians from those days were appeased simply by the protection of the Tamil language and ironically toddy shops!.

However Indians did find a brief taste of freedom in new Malaya or Malaysia, however though it seemed like they were relieved of the oppression of the estates they were actually displaced to urban slums.

Struggling Indians found their success even then as education was by merit and there were government jobs. Like slumdog millionaires (the movie) it was survival of the fittest and the luckiest.

Futhermore they did well in education and managed to climb up the economic ladder. For all these hopes they always fell back to their religion and ancestral respect by maintaining the many places of worship that had given their ancestors courage during the time when the British masters forced them to clear the jungle to create townships.

Till today most others have been reaping the benefits of Malaysia's economic wealth without a single thought or sense of gratitude for this historic Indian contribution to nation building. Indians and the rest of the other communities found and maintained good friendships along the way and they were together in the politics of this country.

The free will was however short lived as the British master's cancer started creeping into the soul of the politicians. Indians needed to be marginalised, again with small group Indians doing the dirty job of their masters or simply closing one eye towards the calculated and slow measures that brought about marginalisation while camouflaging with it with the Tamil agenda; not to mention also the protection of toddy shops and further helped by samsu haram and “not haram”.

Unlike their British masters this new breed of masters found the other area Indians could be manipulated or distracted while they continuously marginalised them. Yes, religion and the place of worship that even the cruel British displayed some sensitivity in handling, which for the new masters and their subordinates has been the greatest playing field.

They plan the destruction and they come to save them in the nick of time, the sentiment which for common Indians will bring them down to their knees…. These deceitful tactics have been like a political mantra to all future politicians, while the Indians started losing their government jobs, their chance for higher education, their oppression in many ways in business ventures, leaving only a handful that managed. And the Indians slowly lost whole lots of other things that Hindraf has pointed out

Then the makkal sakthi awakening of 2008…then what changed after that?

The cancer spread into 'makkal sakthi' with similar modus operandi; the shattered movement has killed the enthusiasm of the majority Indians and they are slowly falling prey again to their political masters.

Now the gullible politicians on both ends are working on the same module that has ruled over the Indians for decades. Yes, back to issues of Tamil schools, temples and nobody give a damn about minority protection.

Oh God!!! Politics will change the man and not otherwise; this is strongly proven in the Malaysian scenario. And now there is a 'third force' hovering over the horizon……is there yet hope for Indians in Malaysia?

Will the politician ever walk the talk? Will there be a ministerial post specifically for minority protection and sensitive issues? Will any right minded politician take the lead? If there is, then it's time again for the majority Indians to awaken and to make a point, “DON'T TAKE INDIANS FOR A RIDE” no matter what you call yourselves. We know!!!!

And then, Proud to be White?

I was listening to the radio and I heard, "It's time for Europeans to take pride in being European." It's not the kind of thing I usually hear - usually I hear about European horrors committed worldwide.

Is it time we took pride? I know it irritates me when I hear stuff like America the Greatest - as if America were better than the rest of the world.

So, is there healthy pride as well as false pride? And what about the famous saying, pride cometh before the fall? Does pride always need to lead to a fall?

Most, if we're from a European background, should we be proud of it? And if so, why?

Why am I writing to you? Two reasons come to mind. First, I have the sense that, at least some of the time, my writings have things in them for you.

The second reason? In ShadowLands, a film I love about C.S. Lewis (author of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe), someone is asked why he reads. It takes him a long time to find his answer: he reads to know he is not alone. I'd say, for many writers, we write from the belief that we are not alone, that there are others out there whom our writing may reach.

So the second reason for writing, both the updates and everything else: to reach, to reach you - which somehow is important to me.

It's not just writers who are like that, of course. Many of us, when we speak, are trying to reach. I'm remembering a line from the poet Adrienne Rich - something like, "love is increasing the truths we can tell each other." And then, maybe from her, maybe from someone else, I'm remembering, "being heard into speech."
