The rowdy demonstration in Penang against the Pakatan Rakyat Government by an Umno led mob of Perkasa and Mamaks was allowed to halt traffic in Penang and resulted in cars having windscreens smashed along Chulia Street and Carnavon Street. A journalist from a Chinese language newspaper and a local TV cameraman were also assaulted. None of this were reported in the local press. All these went on while the Police just stood and watched. The demonstrators did not have a police permit. Deputy IGP Khalid Abu Bakar said that the BERSIH 2.0 participants will be charged under the ISA but does nothing to these Umno led hooligans.
It is ironic that the BERSIH 2.0 Rally is a peaceful rally but it is BN/Umno, Perkasa, Kimma (Mamak), Silat Organizations, Utusan Malaysia, TV3 and the rest of the BN controlled MSM that is instigating, advocating and carrying out violence against peaceful, patriotic citizens.
It appears crystal clear here that BN/Umno through it's proxies such as Perkasa were trying to stir up a racial clash with the Chinese as the majority of cars smashed belonged to the Chinese.
